We didn’t eat Breakfast at the restaurant it’s too expensive.

We loved our stay at Ramada. The room was comfortable and the view in the lake room was incredible. Bed and pillows were great, shower pressure was amazing and we loved the heated towel rack. Location is amazing, short walk to town centre (yes there’s a hill on the way back but that’s Queenstown!), right near bus stop too. Would definitely come back.

The room would receive a decent amount of condensation in the morning which could sometimes make the place smell a bit damp but house cleaning would sort that out while we were out.

No microwave, its a really important amenity missed and not provided by Ramada.

Value for money in Queenstown and easy walking distance to waterfront restaurants etc and parklands. Neat clean and all that is expected of a big hotel chain.

No soft lighting g at all in the rooms, and only one seating stool. It was sit on the bed only or squeeze onto the stool.

We booked a room with a lake view, however there was a large structural beam across the window obstructing the view. Understand this is necessary, however the room description should come with a disclaimer that it may be an obstructed view to avoid disappointment. It also had poor ventilation , with visible condensation on the window ledges. The American man on reception was pretty flat and disinterested, making us feel unheard.

Bed is a little bit old. So after waking up I had a little back pain.

Food was great. Location was excellent, walking distance to downtown, also to the Queenstown Gardens. On a bus route. Staff were nice and helpful. We took a bus tour to Milford Sound. Weather excellent. Bus driver knowledgeable and interesting. Took a local bus to Arrowtown which was interesting and enjoyable.

Clean and reception staff were all pleasant.

Restaurant/bar staff are nice but very slow and disorganised. Food options are very limited and it closes at 9pm.

The location was perfect! Very close to the Queenstown wharf area with a lot of restaurants and bars, easy to walk to.

$200 bond after paying on arrival was a little annoying considering we weren’t informed prior to our stay. Due to current Queenstown Boil Water notice would have liked a supply of potable water. Staff were not present on check out despite it being 20 minutes into operating hours. Parts of one of the curtains were broken which let the late sunset in when we tried to go to sleep.

We had a studio with small kitchen and laundry facilities and these were excellent. Good size in general and comfy bed.

The room was too hot with no windows to open. We had to turn off aircon and even put it on cooling at times. The hill climb was not great for an older couple.
