We loved it! A few things were non-functioning, including a microwave and an a/c unit. The first word on the vrbo listing was “elevator”, but it was falsely advertised. There is no elevator! Most people still had a great time, a few people couldn’t leave the top floor due to mobility difficulties. I just wish I knew there wasn’t an elevator. Everything else was great! Will recommend for sure!!!

We had a fantastic time hosting our immediate family at this cabin and celebrating a marriage. Barb and Trev were always reachable and so helpful with anything we needed, they really made for a special day!

We planned a long weekend away for 25+ family and friends. The check in and check out processes were very smooth; the touchscreen info board inside of the cabin made things very easy. The kitchen was not as stocked as we had anticipated; there were not a lot of serving items (think big spoons, tongs etc) but there was plenty of dishes/glasses/silverware etc for our large group. They did provide hand towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and coffee filters. If you have a really large group like we did, bring a few extra garbage bags and grab some bags of ice on your way in! The majority of the bedrooms are placed in such a way that they are down hallways and away from "the action" of the floor. It was nice that people could go to bed and not be disturbed by those still hanging out. Some of the hair dryers in the bathrooms did not work from what we heard but overall, they were nice with the soaking tubs and large showers. The decks and chairs/tables outside were great and just the right size for our group. We would absolutely rent the cabin again for a large get together.

The house was great. Batteries on TV remote controls were dead... We had an injury when a woman fell into the drain hole behind the hot tub. She got stuck nearly up to her waist and cut her leg needing a tetanus shot. Badly bruised as well. I can provide photo documentation. Unfortunate the hole was open and not covered some how... It needs to be repaired properly!

This cabin exceeded our expectations for hosting a large group!

My now husband and I held our perfect small wedding here. (Think less than 40 people, catering by Rothchild- entirely vegan friendly, bartended by The Pour Guys- request Mark, officiated by Terry Burke of The Groovy Wedding Company, and coordinated by Janna Fowler of All About Weddings). This cabin exceeded all of our expectations, it truly took our breath away the moment we stepped inside. Not to mention the amazing view and amazing amenities. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This cabin was the absolute perfect place to celebrate my 50th Birthday. It was stunning and fit my family perfectly.

I rented this property for a family reunion. We couldn’t have had a better visit to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The location was perfect for what we wanted. When on the property, you don’t see any other homes - we could hear our neighbors, on occasion, but we felt very much a part of the beautiful scenery!! It’s a short 15 min or so drive into the center if Gatlinburg. We avoided the heavy “downtown” traffic by starting out early in the morning in the park, then enjoying this beautiful mansion on the afternoon. Great gathering spaces in the house! Beautiful deck! On different days, we watched a black bear with 3 small Cubs out the back in the field, a small male black bear and a wild hog. And the birds … if you’re a birder, you’ll love it here! The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with almost everything you’d need to cook for a group. The laundry facilities were very nice (bring your own detergent!). There were more than enough rocking chairs and seats outside for everyone, and the hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking one of the beautiful waterfall trails in the park. Management is VERY responsive! Our coffee maker wasn’t working and they replaced it the same day it was reported … as were some other little things related to the game room. The owner has several other properties that we will surely check out the next time we plan a visit! We are fans for life and would recommend this property without hesitation!

We had a wonderful time at the Gatlinburg Mansion! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the space and the views from the windows and back decks. Everything you could need in a kitchen was there and the property managers were quick to respond with any questions I had. We will definitely be back!

The theatre room was also a huge hit! It is the perfect house for a large family gathering. We had 42 people and 2 infants. Everyone had their own space. The home is very well taken care of and is in the exact condition that you see in the pictures. You are within a 20-25 minute drive for anything you want to do! Just make sure you make time to stay at the house and enjoy all this lovely home has to offer. We truly made memories to last a lifetime! We really enjoyed the property. Wish we could stay longer. The game rooms and the theatre were a hit for some of our party. And we cannot not to mention the view from the cabin was magnificent.

We took our great asst. mgrs here and it was the perfect place. Had so much fun. Loved the video games especially bowling. We had everything we needed. The view was incredible. We would love to go back. Thanks for sharing your mansion.

My family and I loved our stay at the cabin. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty to do around the cabin and area. It took 15-20 minutes to get to downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. One commode wasn’t working upon arrival but they were out within a couple hours to repair and we had no other issues. Flaws: -we couldn’t get the fire pit to work and even if we could, there is a sign that threatens fine for roasting food. We had brought marshmallows so that would’ve been nice to know ahead of time. -no elevator. My mother is in a wheelchair and could only access one floor as a result. - the internet is spotty at best and didn’t work half the time. - some beds were comfy while other people complained and non of the pillows were great. Overall it was a great cabin and we’d go again.

We held a corporate retreat there with a mixture children to adults totaling about 30 people. We all were very comfortable in the home, plenty of room for everybody to spread out. It is a little loud at night all others are enjoying the game rooms, so consider that if you have small children.

House was huge! Beautiful. Great place for our team retreat. Use the Smoky Mountain grocery service for delivery, they had it all set up and ready to go when we arrived!

The cabin is gorgeous, the views are incredible, and the kitchen is spectacularly stocked with all kinds of pots, pans, and dishes. The fire pit was really easy to use, and overall, our large group was very comfortable in the cabin. The only issues we had were that there's very little insulation so every footstep on an upper level sounds really loud in lower bedrooms, noise carries from the common area to all levels of the home (including the bedrooms), and when we followed instructions to call for more dish washing supplies, we were ignored by management for three days and had to go buy our own. Also the wifi is incredibly weak, which is disappointing for a cabin of this size. All they need to do is purchase inexpensive repeaters for each level, and it would provide enough wifi for the group size that would stay at a cabin this large. I would also suggest marking the cabin as private property, because the only sign on it says "Cabin Rental Store" and we actually had three different people just WALK IN to the cabin without knocking (on three separate occasions) because they were looking to rent cabins in the area and thought this was the place to do that.

My husband and I decided to host a couples retreat and was looking for venues. We ran across cabins that were large enough, but didn't have the same amenities in each room....and then we saw the Gatlinburg Mansion. The pictures don't do it justice! This place is amazingly beautiful. And judging from the look on the faces our guests, we wouldn't dream of having the annual retreat anywhere else. We absolutely loved everything about the mansion. Thanks to Barbara for being persistent about us experiencing the Mansion....she is God sent! Wonderful experience in every way!

It was absolutely gorgeous and really roomy....the rooms were very clean and the decor is very fitting....I really enjoyed my stay

Our group of 14 couples have used this cabin two years in a row because of location, beauty of the cabin and overall experience with staff! We are planning to stay there a third year in 2016 and always look forward to being there. I can't "brag" enough on working with Barbara and Earl. These two are exceptional people that care about the comfort of their guests.
