It was great stay. The only issue was the code to the door didn’t work. The property manager answered my call within 15-30 minutes and it all worked out fine.

Home was not maintained, it was very dirty. for example, glass cups dirty plates with food residue, coffee machine building up mold on the inside. Shower was not clean. Noise ordinance was not respected was woken up multiple times during the night. People repeatedly breaking glass outside @1am , neighbors playing loud music till 3am. Didn’t receive a text or email back about the rental till several days later, lacking communication skills.

...but because the location is right in the heart of downtown, there are some downsides as well. Positives: -Location. You can walk to everything in a short time, including the major hot springs. -It's spacious, there were only two of us staying here and it was nice having a separate living room and bedroom. We didn't use the kitchen, but we did use the fridge. -There are TV's in both the bedroom and living room which were great for spending down time watching shows. -Key code access was simple. One code for the street level door and another code for the apartment door. It felt secure. -Plenty of street parking is available, but you'll want to park in the free garage a couple blocks away for anything overnight during the week. Negatives: -Water pressure is my biggest overall complaint. It would keep me from staying here again. It was basically a trickle in the shower. -It's got a musty smell as you enter the building. A little off-putting at first. -The street noise. We were woken up early (5am-6am) both days we stayed here by trash trucks. We stayed on weekdays, but I can imagine the late night foot traffic/noise would be significant on weekends. -The bed is super soft, too soft for us. Both of us had aching backs in the morning after sleeping on it. (though the comforter/sheets/pillows are comfy feeling). It's a good spot overall, we didn't have any major issues. For the reasons listed above we wouldn't stay again, but we didn't regret our stay overall.

We had a great time staying here. Pretty much every amenity you need. Very walkable location. Bring earplugs for those raucous, downtown weekend evenings.

We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend at this listing. Close to everything, safe and secure, and all amenities were as described. Would be glad to stay again!

We stayed one night in late December. I had to text the property manager with some questions about access and wifi, but she was very responsive. We had a holiday gift exchange and it was the perfect place for that. Everything was great except one of the nearby bars was quite noisy late at night, although after it closed it was very quiet. Also, parking can be a bit challenging on a busy afternoon and evening, but there is a parking garage two blocks away if all else fails. Overall it is a very nice place and we had a great stay.

Beautifully furnished apartment, very comfortable for the two of us. Easy walk to the big Hot Spring in town, but we found the Iron Mountain Hot Springs more relaxing. Nordic skiing is free in Carbondale and Aspen. Re: parking- we found it pretty easy to park overnight on the street. Re: the bars- even on New Year's eve, they were but distant background noise. The 25 steps are 25 steps- but once upstairs, it was a great place to relax.

The property was great! The kitchen was very well stocked allowing us to cook comfortably. It was also spacious, easy to get around, and the bed was comfortable. The location was absolutely amazing - adjacent to almost everything you could possibly want to do in Glenwood! Another great aspect is the property owner sends you the instructions, codes, and basically leaves you alone. Not a lot to do for checkout either - very straight forward and painless! I only have two gripes - the shower head was really not great, and the local pub next door was playing really loud music until about 2am which kept us up. Not the property owners fault, just something worth knowing. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on Christmas Eve with our dogs. The place was very clean and right in the area we wanted to be for walkable restaurants. We loved that it was very quiet with minimal street noise. We would like to stay here again!

This was our second time to to this VRBO. First the good, location to restaurants, shopping and hot springs is fantastic. The bad,…the bed is a full size and very uncomfortable, the shower head stinks, the hot water was cold, so that stunk. The ugly is getting woken up at 6:30 every day for trash removal. We chose to stay here a second time for the location.

We had a great stay in Glenwood with this as our home base. The space was larger than expected, clean, quiet, and had everything needed. Very walkable, and street parking in front of the unit wasn't an issue.

As a older female the stairs were not expected! The apartment floor sloped. Otherwise very nice

Easy to walk to all locations including restaurants and hot springs. One restaurant had some loud music until pretty late that was easy to hear but obviously not the properties fault and it was only on the weekend. Overall great stay.

So much fun, the location is in the heart of Glenwood which is all "growed" up now and has so much to offer. Food, friends, bikes, hikes and a soak. Forget Aspen (where we used to have a place) and enjoy Glenwood!

Such a cute spot, perfect for 2 people and so close to almost anything in Glenwood Springs. Host/manager was also super responsive (would reply within minutes to messages) and really easy to work with.

The location is great for experiencing Glenwood Springs. We parked the car (check on the parking rules in town) and just walked or biked (rented bikes from a shop right down the street) to all the places we wanted to be. Street level door that locks in addition to the unit door that locks. You will hear the trash/recycling trucks service the alley behind the VRBO in the morning, but we were up already so we could go out to explore the area. Comfy bed and everything was in good working order. Great to have a laundry in the unit. Enjoyed the unique character of this historic building.

We loved the place. It was really cozy and convenient being downtown. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay… a simple walk across the bridge to get to the Glenwood Springs Pool. Property manager was responsive. Such a fun trip! There is nightlife into the evening on weekends. I do recommend this property.

We really loved this cute place and wish we stayed longer! It was decorated so cute and was comfortable. The curry place across the street was amazing! There was quite a bit of noise Saturday night from a nearby band but the other night was very quiet. Parking was in street but easy to find. Would love to stay here again.

This apartment is walking distance to everything downtown. Can’t beat the location for that reason. It’s well-stocked, comfortable and clean as well. It’s very noisy though so if you are a light sleeper, be forewarned there is a lot of noise when the bars close at 2 AM as well as early in the morning when the trash dumpsters are emptied. I enjoyed my stay.

If you are looking to be a part of all the activities downtown has to offer, this is a great place to stay. We stayed in mid January and enjoyed walking to all the restaurants, shops, and the short walk across the bridge to the hots springs. Ideal if you are taking the train into town also! You will hear the noise of the city, but that is what I expect staying in the city. Enjoy!
