This compact two bedroom property was just what we needed to help make us feel at home. Specially since it was our children's first time travelling.
It had everything we needed and was central to most things the Gold Coast had to offer.
Chris was a friendly host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He also respected our privacy which was appreciated.
We would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Chris’s place was in a convenient location. Close to foreshore for waking the dog and had takeaway shops and cafes within walking distance. Great spot to stay as a family that lives to travel with our dog.

The house is nice and tidy in a quiet area with shops and pubs within a short walk or if you prefer it's a 10 minute drive to the Gold Coast we will definitely stay again

The property was great. Ut was clean with a lively hot shower and very pet friendly. We would definitely stay there again. It was also very close to coffee shops, small supermarket, liquor store and great restaurants.

Lovely little place to stay! Our little poodle cross loved the yard and we had everything we needed. Plenty of outdoor spaces surrounded by gorgeous gardens and tropical scenery. Location was perfect, close to everything we love about the Gold Coast. Thanks so much and we look forward to stay again!

The whole unit had an odour/musty smell to it, place very neglected, grubby, kitchen cupboards need to be sorted out instead of items just throw in any old place, inside the fridge hadn't been wiped out or cleaned. Microwave very average. It's overpriced for what you get. We actually came home a day earlier as my husbands Asthma was triggered by our stay.
It's very close to restaurants cafes convenience store bakery Pharmacy newsagent etc.
However our small dog was happy there.

I really enjoyed my stay. Host was very helpful. very relaxing and beautiful surrounds, close to the cafes and shops that are within walking distance. It was the perfect place to stay with my little dog because the property is fenced. Highly recommend

Check in was a breeze great instructions given by host Chris. Home is practical and a little different. The yard will only suit a small dog. Heating and cooling are very good. Hot water is great. The only criticism we have and it is minor.... the home smelled musty or of wood smoke (there is an open fireplace). Chris is a very responsive host and will do all he can to make your stay pleasant.
There are 2 properties on the same block attached to each other but with totally private entrances.

Chris provides a clean and comfortable villa in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Great dog park, lovely bars, restaurants and cafes with alfresco dining to bring the pooch to. Peaceful and tranquil property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

Perfect environment especially with a dog.
Fabulous location, close to all you might need to have couples break, family holiday, or work from home situation. Terrific music cafe, Ground & Sound 2 mins walk with plenty on throughout the week, well worth a visit.
We had a dog with us and she was comfortable roaming safely in and out of the unit, as the area is totally secure and has a small dog door. Very well appointed and maintained. Chris is Fabulous and available if ever you need him. We loved the area so much, relocating to it.
Would highly recommend this stay.

A Great Little Vila close to Shops, Beaches and Activities
The property was nice enough and the owner provided almost all the stuff that was mentioned on the website. There were some insect problems due to the location next to the water but all in all it allowed us to enjoy our stay in Southport.

Perfect for a family and pets
What a lovely little house! It even has a doggie door. We all really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you could want and the location is fantastic. Close to some lovely cafes for breakfast, fishing from the creek if you are inclined (we forgot our rod this trip) and a short spin to Broadwater or Main Beach. Chris the owner was lovely and helpful too. We will be back!

Great gettaway with kids and dog
Property exactly as listed. Walking distance to shops and places to eat so could keep things low key. Or Uber to other GC attractions. Musgrave park is a great offleash park for your dog. Kids loved the spa pool. Also fun to have an open fire. House had all we needed for a 5 night stay, with more time would have probably taken the kayak out on the river or had a bbq. Beds comfy. Netflix and wifi were appreciated. Would recommemd this listing.

We also loved the fact we would fish directly from the backyard, during our stay we caught a stack of bream.. fishing every night and morning before heading out for the day.The dogs just loved it too. Great dog friendly accommodation
Loved our stay, it was the first time taking our dog ( were worried how she would be) but it was great. The kids loved that they could go fishing right outside the door, great walking distance to the shops, we will definitely be going back again. Owner/ manager was very welcoming, thank you Chris.

Best Pet Friendly Accommodation
To date the best pet friendly place we have stayed at. Comfortable and secure. The accommodation didn't lack for anything, however easier access to the water would be great, especially for oldies with huge kayaks :-) Otherwise besides that we found it very peaceful and will return when and if we can.

Tucked away from the main road on the water - beautiful. Location was great for family. At most 10min to most main attractions and very close to nice local beaches with awesome playgrounds. Chris the host was very nice to deal with and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great pet friendly accommodation and location, exactly as described. A private oasis by the creek, our 2 dogs loved their first holiday with us. Everything from booking to our check out was such a smooth easy process, thanks Chris.

Great couple of days away, peaceful location, off street parking. Facilities suited our needs self contained, clean & tidy. Fenced yard for our dog. Friendly owner and happy to help.

Not the same quality as before. Fleas. Roaches were holding olympics in kitchen. Needs serious attention and the cleaners need to be fired.
