The location, the set up of the hotel, the staff, their amazing breakfast .... everything

Everything was perfect. room, staff, location... Unfortunately just for few days, what a pity! It has been so relaxing!

Lovely boutique hotel steps away from the beach. Quite, clean with great breakfast. Staff were kind and helpful throughout. Laura arranged some lovely surprises for our honeymoon and was really responsive to all questions we had. We highly recommend it.

Could consider improving the coffee selection - non instant coffee was payable. Excursion was disappointing and not value for money.

A beautiful little boutique resort just off the beautiful beach of Kiwengwa. It was very peaceful, clean and had stylish interiors. The pool area was beautiful. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the owner Laura and Sheha. They decorated our room so beautifully for our honeymoon arrival, and also gave us severally little beautiful gifts. So kind and thoughtful.

In a couple of months Arya will have even more to offer once the restaurant is in full flow, we just wished we could have enjoyed this whilst there. However there are plenty of other options on the beach. The Maasai men and women on the beach were annoying constantly asking if we wanted to buy things, but that was at no fault to the hotel.

The location is not what I expect and you don't feel safe at night.

As the name suggests its a small boutique place (around 10 rooms). We stayed in the Family suite with a kind of private pool access. Morning walk at the beach was fantabulous as the property is next to the beach (less than 1 min walk from our room). Laura (owner), although not physically present, but it looked as though she is around taking care of minutest of things like breakfast, lunch etc. We had requested for Vegetarian and the chef did magic. The driver, Remi, was also very nice and helpful through out our stay. As said the property is small/cozy so it can not be compared to a full blown resort facilities but we found it to be very nice.

The hotel is right on the beach and having only 5 rooms you get a very personal service from the great staff. They excelled themselves with a birthday treat, a special day indeed.

The beach bar is a little expensive compared to others nearby , a minor gripe .

Nice location, friendly staff. Close to the beach, however not at the beach with no sea view from rooms or pool. Best to explain better on website to avoid wrong expectations. View from breakfast room.

Breakfast service not optimal, slow service, run down area to sir, not very yummy. Website images no not 100% comply with reality, swimmingpool outdated and not inviting to use. Rooms are away from the beach (view).

Location is super!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are latge and good. What more do you want!?

Staff kind & went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

The Hotel is small and cosy but has all the amenities one needs. For the beach you just have to step outside the hotel and make a few steps. The breakfast is served in building nearby on a upstairs terrace with a beautiful view. On the beach you can find several restaurants (that were all very helpful to make us vegetarian dishes). The Hotel staff was absolutley marvelous, always cheerful, happy and very friendy. We had an amazing time. Thank you!

The only downpour is that when lying on the beach there are always Masaii people walking by and wanting to talk to you or bring you into their shops.

It is with a heavy heart we left this property. The staff and intimacy of the resort cannot be beaten! It was like staying with dear friends! From the moment of booking throughout our stay and departure, Laura the owner, has kept in touch. Making sure everything is as we please. This level of service and commitment is something other properties can learn a thing or 2 from. We had a deluxe suite and that was exceeded our expectations. The level of details, everything was well thought of. Bonus points for Netflix on the TV and a consistent WiFi connection. This made our stay even better. The grounds of the hotel are lush and green and very well kept. We loved going for evening swims after getting back from dinner. The pool was so tranquil. We loved laying in the pool and watching the stars above. What made our stay even more memorable is the fact that the staff went out of their way and surprised us with decorations for our 10 year wedding anniversary. They really made our special day!

Thanks to all Arya staff! Our room was very clean, very intimate place and Netflix is a special plus! The pool is like a paradise.. the breakfast is amazing, served in front of the Ocean with a wonderful view. I asked Laura to make a special surprise to my beloved girlfriend and she organized everything for her, like a Princess.. Love Mnemba Excursion as well, Laura organized a special and private, non-turistic itinerary for us.. hope to see you next season!!!

Really nice hotel, few meters from the beach, great breakfast with a view. :) Would definitely recommend to stay there.

The locations was superb, right next to the beach with a lovely bar in front. Breakfast was incredible- platter of fresh fruit, followed by your choice! Maryam even played with our daughter during it! We were looked after from start to finish and the hotel staff went above and beyond when helping me with my wife's and daughter's birthdays! An experience they will never forget :)

Great location next to the beach, really quiet place. Nice garden in the backyard with a great pool and garden in it. The staff is great and the room service is exceptional, I cannot describe the friendliness. I am looking forward to coming next time!

Since you are on the other side of the island, if you want to take a cab or a driver from the place to some other place, expect it to be around $50, multiple it by the number of visits you want to make it can add up, but again, you are pretty much traveling to other sides of the island.

I initially booked just 3 nights but the moment I got there I knew will stay longer. Sparkling clean, super comfy beds great location and amazing staff. Actually host reached out to me before my flight to give me details on test for Covid, pickup taxi or anything I needed during my stay. Attention of details in hotel makes the difference, even they offer French power sockets in the rooms. Breakfast 🥞 🍳 included in room rate was really good!

Maybe restaurant food variety for lunch or dinner. Most of restaurants have the same so maybe it is generally the same in Kiwengwa.

It is the nicest villa/hotel Just five rooms... the rooms are immaculate and very contemporary added bonus Netflix on a big screen TV..,A secluded beautiful pool set in a gorgeous garden... A beautiful restaurant right by the beach. And the food is absolutely divine. Laura the owner could not be more helpful and accommodating she was amazing...this last place I stayed for two nights it was a perfect finish to a perfect holiday I will I’ll be coming back here next year for sure

Nothing...,,There was a issue with the wifi but the Laura was on it straight way and they even offered me a SIM card so I could do some important emails Happy happy happy

incredible!!! We were 3 friends on vacation in Zanzibar. We made the best hotel choice. The room is amazing, large very clean and direct access to the pool from our room. The staff are very attentive to us, at any time and for any request, we were treated like princesses! Laura organized our excursions and our trips to us, she is attentive and very human. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, far from the big hotel with lots of tourists, choose this one. The beach is a few steps from our room, it is very beautiful and you can eat your breakfast facing the sea every morning its amazing. Thank you again laura and her team we will be back !!
