Absolutely fantastic location with incredible views from all rooms and the lovely pool area. The staff couldn't be more helpful and eager to please and the vineyard's own port is excellent. They offer tastings.

The bed was a little hard for my taste and you need a car, its 15mins from Pinhao (but a fabulous drive)

If you want yo get away from it all, this is the place. The Quinta is truly in the middle of a vineyard with one of the most beautiful views I have ever encountered-360 degrees of breathtaking vineyard relief! The food was very good and the staff most accommodating-going out if their way to make sure all your needs are met. You can sit by the pool all day or go to several local villages. The roads are not for the faint of heart, many are narrow and winding-if you love to drive it’s lovely!

This was indeed a beautiful place to stay. Views were awesome! Rooms were a good size with wonderful views from windows. Lovely garden spots to relax and sip wine. Very good breakfast, dinner, and service.

Bathrooms were ample. Needs new hair blow dryers.

Idyllic location - about 15 minutes out of pinhao. Staff were lovely when there was a concern our car hire had been cancelled. Couldn't recommend in terms of value for money. Unbelievable serenity.

There was nothing special about the property except for the views. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our trip on the Douro so we expected it to be more charming.

The view from this property cannot be properly described- it is achingly beautiful and the pool area is well done. The staff were helpful in booking us taxis to Pinhao - about 15 euros each way.

it’s a bit self-service in that you have to go and find someone if you want a drink by the pool and ask specifically if you wanted lunch. it wasn’t clear if it was on offer to everyone. An alternative to the 35 euro evening meal would be appreciated though eating out in Pinhao was fun. it wasn’t clear too if you could look round the vineyards. But charming staff .

the view from the room and the pool were amazing. the room was spaceous, clean and quiet.

the pool doesn't have a pool bar, you have to go up to the reception to order every single time. there are only wine drinks, beer and soda to choose from, for a pool bar we would have expected a bigger choice (e.g. gin tonic). the "air condition" is only ventilation, it doesn't properly cool down the room.

It was lovely taking a walk in the vineyard and the views were excellent. We enjoyed the dinner with the wine tasting that can be pre-booked and the staff was friendly and helpful during our stay.

The pool has an amazing view and a large terrace with sufficient pool beds. Dinner is served in the dining room or on the terrace. The view from the terrace again is beautiful. The food is tasteful and the tips on wine parings are spot-on and honest.

The hotel could organise more in terms of events for the guests, for instance a dinner in te neighbouring vineyard or under the starry sky. No lunch is served.

Wonderful quinta in a stunning location, excellent service, food and wine! Nuno, the manager, is a very knowledgable sommelier and spent time telling us about the Douro, the grape varieties and the wines produced on the estate. We came away with some exceptional examples! Rita made us feel so at home in the restaurant and was in no hurry to see us leave! We are looking forward to coming back...

Super nice staff, great breakfast, mediocre coffee

Room nr 3 smelled (maybe mold), tried to keep windows open but there were too many mosquitos. Room nr 6 was completely fine. Worst part was that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and it’s in the middle of nowhere. They told us only after the free cancellation period.

Everything about the property was wonderful .The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the Quinta was built on a hill surrounded by vineyards
