Friendly staff & comfortable room. Hotel is looking a bit jaded in parts but about to undergo a major extension, so I'd expect this will lift the overall property. Hotel is immediately adjacent to the beach & there are plenty of family oriented facilities nearby.

Hotel is some distance from Makkum Town & it's facilities. The distance is walkable, but easier if you have your own transport. A swimming pool would be a good addition.

Older hotel, but the equipment of the rooms with a sea view is new, clean, the location of the hotel is right on the beach, a high-quality and varied buffet breakfast

we booked the room with seaview and also checked in the booking.com description that the hotel is ok with pets( our dog) At arrival we were told that we made a mistake in booking and the booked room was not available with pets. So we were booked in a room with view of the parking lot and due to our bad timing with 9:00 wake up from the construction work on this parking lot. So I do not know where I should have known that I cannot book the nice room with a pet. I suggest some improvement on the wording in the booking tool to avoid future disappointment.

It was nice and quiet as the weather wasn’t great! restaurant bar lovely, but not cheap! cost more than the accommodation! Shame the accommodation didn’t include breakfast.

Hotel was situated right by the beach so that was super convenient for windsurfing. We could also look out to the water to check conditions. Everything was clean and comfortable, wifi worked well. Staff were very helpful and friendly 😊 Restaurant downstairs served good food.

Location: Very nice. Breakfast: OK. Nothing special. Could have been a vider selection of food. Beach is very nice. Personell in general very helpful. The restaurant is a very nice room. Great atmosphere.

You cancelled my booking without asking me. You should have called. A BIG NO-NO. I had a terrace room for a single night(2nd night). Booking.com would not let me cancel 1 out of 2 nights in standard room. And you cancelled our reservation without prior notice. Unheard of. We travel with a 3,5 year old child and wanted to be able to enjoy the sunset. Not possible. Standard room: Not a 4 star. 3. No aircondition/possibility for regulate temperature. And. The night we arrived the woman in reception was not helpful at all. Had to check out everything by ourselves. The rest of the staff was very nice. Menu in restaurant was very limited for dinner.

The location of the hotel is great. Makuum is a very nice small local towns with great people. The breakfast was nice. They have a tasty menu and a decent variety. Nice view for the renovated side of the hotel

We did not enjoy the rooms! The 2 nights stay in an old room. But then for an upgrade for the second night. The disappointment was nevertheless the same. - No Coffee machine (They said this is their policy, but I don't understand why a €140 per night hotel doesn't have coffee? We spent time in other less expensive hotels with more facilities) - Mattresses are old - Dirty floors - Shower with no curtain, but there's a groom you can use to sweep the floor after a shower! - No tissue papers I don't think that's a 4-star hotel experience. The new room had the issues with the old one. But with a nicer view, and a boiler with some tea and coffee. However, the room had no telephone! That was very weird! Overall, I don't recommend this hotel.
