Good location for the price. Calm area so no problems to sleep, large bedroom.
From the reviews I had higher expectations. There was no air conditioner in the room and it's August, later on we understood that is common in Budapest so ok, we had a fan instead, but was full of dust and we had to clean it and wash the external part. Was also the first time we had no toiletries in the room, luckily we took some with us from home so I didn't go to ask if they had something to give us. They also didn't have bed sheets for a double bed so they gave us two single bed sheets to cover. When we entered the first time the room had a smell like was closed for a while, so we couldn't stay much to rest (I have allergies)we opened the windows and left. The windows remained opened during our whole stay for have some fresh air

The location of the house is cool, and to enter the building is easy. The host communicated well with us.
The shower was in the room, with no ceiling, so if you would take a shower you would sleep in humidity. The room furniture was old, but it was charming

The guest checked in after 8pm, and even though there was nobody at the reception the hotel was quick to help out by phone and all was prepared. 5 minutes walking from Nyugati station - perfect place for an overnight to catch next train in the morning
There was no reception and we couldn't reach the hotel by number on the door, however they have written in advance on WhatsApp from the number that was instantly available. It's worth adding a number at the main entrance too

Our room was really nice, clean and cosy.
When we saw the bathroom without doors, we were a little bit surprised. But we accepted that and it was ok. Lady was very polite and nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at your place. We will defenitly recommend you to our friends.

The key system was very easy. There were coded entries to the building door and the entrance to the pension.
After getting the room key, we never saw any host. There were no instructions for check out.

Everything is old..
Bed linen and towels are old.
There is a big water heater that makes noise every time you use hot water.

I could not meet with any staff. I needed to leave the money in the room.

Everything was fine except for missing staff, even if they were very available and kind via whatsapp, and toilet paper which we needed to buy by ourselves.. Overall it was good

Spacious apartment with very friendly staff willing to help whenever needed. Bus and metro stations are very close.

The apartment is practically next to the Western Railway station which was one of the major reason we decided to stay in Evergreen. The room was big enough for us to stay in for a single night, it was nicely warm inside and surprisingly quiet at night despite its central location. The room is cozily furnished with a very comfortable bed. The place was nicely cleaned.
The shower cabin is in the same space with the bed. As we are a couple, this did not bother us, but there's not much privacy within the apartment. Also, better communication and instructions in terms of arrival and entrance to the property would be probably useful. However, the owner was available for us on the phone when we arrived.

I liked everything very much. Not far from the center. A good place. Comfortable beds.
Perhaps there is not enough air conditioning, but only when it is very hot.

Ease of checkin and checkout is really great. Code to get in the building and to flat as well. Great if you need to stay few nights. We stayed one night and didnt meet anybody from staff and only one guest. Quiet, clean.
Either I provided time of arrival I stayed on street for 10 minutes in heavy rain until owner picked phone and told me the code to get in. This was the biggest issue during my one night stay.

Incredible location close to lots of cafes, restaurants, the building of the Parlament and the river. Staff were very nice and helpful. We really really enjoyed our stay.

Room was overlooked by adjacent property. No air con. Asked to borrow an iron but didn’t arrive.

If you do not have internet access before check-in ( for example during a long journey on the train without wi-fi ) and phone servis that works abroad at the time of check-in, you will have troubles checking in ( I arrived at the door at 21:45, which was within the range of the time scheduled upon reservation ). But it is not a hotel with a 24 hour reception but an apartment so it is justifiable.

The bed and room was very comfortable and it was a very quiet and peaceful place to stay.
It suited us. Excellent value for money, a kitchen and dining room we could use, a fridge in our room.
