De locatie tegenover centraal speelveld bij de kerk van Ambleside was fantastisch. Na 5 dagen Engels ontbijt was het contenetal breakfast met veel vers fruit een heerlijke, en welkome afwisseling. Prima kamer voor.4 personen met licht afgescheiden ruimte voor de 2 kinderen.

The location and staff were superb. Easy to park and a quick walk to town. Our top floor room looked out over the tennis courts and mini golf which was nice and quiet.

Breakfast could include a full English option for the price point but there was still a good choice and it was all nice and fresh. The heating was cranked right up throughout the property so beware if you feel the heat like me. T shirt and shorts are needed for breakfast

Great location and quiet on a night. Fantastic power and hot shower. Nicely kept room with comfy bed and good provisions in the room for a short stay. Very enjoyable stay.

Oversight on my part when booking. Two extra costs I wasn't prepared for on arrival: £10 per night to park at the property and £10 per day for a continental breakfast. The room appeared cheap when booking but the deconstructed nature of the pricing was a little misleading. I will learn to read the small print better in the future. I really enjoyed my stay regardless. A couple of long black hairs in the room on arrival, which isn't great. One on the dressing table and one hanging on the hook on the door where the 'Do not disturb' sign was.

Liked the family room with a separate area for the 3rd bed (with own TV). Bathroom looked to be newly fitted and was roomy with good shower with two shower heads, and the whole room was very clean.

Would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but overall the food was very good anyway.

Location was great , parking was good , lovely building and good staff . The room was a good size and bathroom was lovely
