This resort does so many things right. - The buildings, grounds, pools are beautiful - The room was a little small but the balcony area was a lovely breezy place to hangout - The staff are very friendly and helpful - Great location on the beach, but with quiet spaces set back, and easy access to the restaurants and shops of Sanur - Good food at the restaurants

At the price point for a 4 star luxury hotel in Sanur they fell down on a few points (that can be easily fixed!): - The mattresses feel like they were probably great when new but are old and a bit sunken now - really should be replaced! We had to change our first bad mattress (very helpful staff) and the second was better but still not what I would expect. - For modern travel you expect sufficient sockets to charge devices near the bed. However the only socket was used by the lamp. Its not difficult or expensive to get one of the bedside clocks/hubs with USB ports and they need to do this - TV connection/cable is bad and picture is grainy. Easy to put in a digital tv box these days. - Bathroom was ok but not enough hooks and shower should really be combi rain shower style these days. - Wifi was slow - Breakfast options weren't very diverse and didn't change much during our stay so got a little boring. But overall food was very tasty.

Great Position, lovely staff

Not enough sunbeds on the beach, and no staff wandering around the pools and beach to take food/drink orders.

Loved the resort, location and staff.

Bed is hard but staff added a mattress topper on request.

Location, the gardens, breakfast, pools, bed comfortable

No bathtub in room, not an issue for me but for my friend it was disappointing. Cappuccino maker was broken.

Rooms were a good size and beds very comfy and air con worked well. Pools were clean and lots of sun lounges and towels. Good location with some of the best restaurants within walking distance.

Breakfast was good but didn't have much variety. Service at the swim up bar was a bit slow and cocktails were a bit boring.

The hotel was so well placed, right on the beach, but also walking distance of so many restaurants, bars and shops. The pools were all amazing. Especially the one with the swim up bar. The bed in our room was the biggest and most comfortable we have ever experienced. Staff were so lovely and friendly too.

The showers could be a little more powerful.

We loved the Balinese Gardens and the location

Unfortunately, the abundance of biting ants around the small pool and the chair "reservation" by towel around the big pool

Good selection and well presented.

All up to scratch, a very pleasant stay.
