Excellent small hotel, family run, quiet location.

Honestly, I think it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to really many hotels (only this month around 15). The location is perfect! It’s 1 minute from the train station and 4 minutes to the lake. The stay was very comfortable as you get the impression that you’re not in the hotel, but at home, it’s very private! The balcony was large and the view was amazing. Cinzia, the lady at the reception, was one of the most positive people I’ve seen in Italy this year! I don’t like coming back to the same place, but I would definitely come back to this city and to this hotel! Personal advice: if you’re planning to take the Bernina Express, it’s a great idea to stop in Colico for a few days.

The breakfast was nice. They offered to prepare coffee and scrambled eggs. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist offered to stay a little bit later to wait for us since we arrived late in the night.

No option for warming the room ( it was unseasonably rainy and cold) the staff did try but were unable to help

Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast, centrally located and beautiful view of the mountains. TV included English speaking news channels.

There was not anything that we didn’t like about this property.
