It has the best location and your stuff. I have to tell you is awesome.

I didn’t like the fact that there was nobody in the office and we kept on having to run to the Harmony. When we were checking out one of your weight staff called over there and asked if someone could come over. No one showed up so we had to run back to harmony to check out. The lady came to Sunset shock which cost more time and also a pay cash for the balance and it’s not reflecting on a recent email invoice? I paid in full and they were actually a couple dollars left over..

The location was great - a map inside the room outlining shops, bars and maybe paths to places would be great. wanted to walk to Playa Pelada but only roads show up on waze or Google naps. Insider tips on jungle paths to take would be helpful. Front office check-in/out staff very friendly and process easy.

I thought the price was a little high. The road construction was challenging but realize that is not the fault of the hotel. Often times I would come to the bar for a beer or food - staff helpful but not always friendly - spent more time talking to each other and friends who would visit than refilling water or asking if you wanted anything else. One guy - Axel- was awesome!

Amazing breakfast, great pool, tons of wildlife around. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

the food at the restaurant was some of the best that we had in Nosara. Also the best lemonade and margaritas! I loved that it didn't feel busy even though the hotel was full. There was always a spot by the pool and in the restaurant. Having surf board storage was very helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly in booking restaurant reservations and transportation when needed.

The staff at the Sunset Shack were most accommodating; helping us with booking adventures and travel to & from destinations. They recommended incredible restaurants & local things to do. The staff is amazing & cordial! The food at Al Chile is absolutely fresh & delicious. Definitely has the Pura Vida vibe. The room was extremely spacious & very clean. We had everything we needed and I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the grounds, and the beauty. The staff is kind, friendly, courteous and amazing people! :) Reccomend this place 1,000%!!

Lovely ground floor rooms for our family of 5, located near the pool. Both clean and attractive with comfy chairs on the terrace outside. The pool area was beautiful and felt like a little oasis. Breakfasts were excellent and the evening meals very good too. Brian on reception organised surfing lessons with Nosara Surf School for our 3 teenagers which was a huge success. All in all, an excellent 2 night stay.

Happy with everything!

The staff, the location, the design and the small touches. It was very comfortable, clean and peaceful. I also like spaciousness of the rooms and the high speed internet for working.
