Very friendly staff and in a great position being right on the beach. Also, whilst tucked a short distance away from the shops, they were nice and handy. This included some good local restaurants.

A couple of the meals were very average however certainly cannot complain about the breakfast.

Very good. The evening meals we had were exceptional as well as excellent value for money .We normally eat at the hotel restaurant on the first evening and then find alternative places for further nights. We soon realised that we would not improve so ate here every evening

We're sad. Last night was our fourth and final night at Aquaria. We had such an amazing time. If you would like the definition of paradise, you'll find it here. From the lovely welcome and excellent friendly service, to the beautiful rooms and the location right on the water, this is the place to be. My wife and son and I had two rooms that opened up to the pool area. We loved the outside bed and table and chairs. The restaurant was excellent. Delicious food, lovingly prepared and professionally presented. There's a nice big pool between the room area and also a great ocean pool above the breaking waves. Very special. The gardens are manicured and constantly tended. Location - it's just a five minute walk to other restaurants and shops. We loved the rain shower and comfy bed. Best bed so far in Bali. The air con was quiet and effective, but not always needed. We loved the breakfasts. We liked the delicious fresh fruit and jams so much - we could have eaten more of it! :) And finally, my wife loved the resort spa. Very special. She made use of it a number of times and was totally pampered, right by the ocean! Check this place out. It's quiet and peaceful and so incredibly beautiful. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to Aquaria's lovely staff. We hope to see you all again!

Everything from the cleanliness, the design of the property, the food (mouthwatering), the spa (great massages) to the lovely staff! They were so attentive, yet discreet and happy to help with anything at any time.

it’s not about the property but the main road in Candi Dasa is very busy and fast

breakfast selection was great accommodation right on beach husband able to scooper dive right out front and boat pick out front also. Staff great and able to book anything on request. Have their own spa with great girls for massages, facials and much more. Water from well so you are able to drink.

Everything simply perfect: incredibly friendly and helpful people; delicious cuisine; clean and spacious room with a direct view on the ocean (which is literally few steps from you); perfect spa treatments for good price; Wi-Fi ok for standard work and calls (video calls wouldn't work that well). We especially loved the calm and peaceful atmosphere the great people of Aquaria Eco Resort create there. Candidasa as such is a perfect solution if you area searching some quiet place, yet still want to enjoy good restaurants and strolls through the streets. There is no proper beach to sunbath, however you can step into the ocean directly from the resort, it's safe. Just wear shoes as the ocean floor is full of corals which makes it a perfect place for snorkeling.

We really thought hard, however couldn't find anything negative about this place.

The resort was very quiet when we were there, just opening again post COVID travel restrictions - this suited us and made our stay more enjoyable... one morning there were people in the room next to ours and they sat on their terrace and talked very loudly which woke me up. The room was not very sound proof, this is no fault of the resort it's just something that was a bit annoying. I feel like if the resort was full it would not allow much privacy which I guess you can't really expect in a resort setting

Perfect place right on the beach. Our room was huge we had Villa 1 facing the ocean. The staff are fantastic. This is a special place where locals help build the hotel and were then sent to Uni to learn how to run it. This is a truely special place.

Going home

Great small resort, a quiet and restful retreat. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant provided delicious menu with great choices for breakfast. Rooms were beautifully furnished and included a tea and coffee making facility with a wide range of types of teas. Rooms clean and very comfortable, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Choice of fresh water and smaller salt water pool with plenty of outdoor lounges, table and chairs.

The location is right on the seafront but away from any noise and bustle of the main road and village . It’s a lovely layout with rooms around a pool and garden but still with views towards the seafront.immacutaley kept and maintained, cleanest place I’ve come across for a longtime. The restaurant offers a large range of freshly prepared foods, Both Indonesian and westerns style food. I ate here all week and don’t get Bali belly once! The owner Jenny is very hands on, supports and trains her staff really well, is friendly with guests but also respects privacy. When I mentioned I had hoped for a more ‘clean menu ‘ to match the Eco title, she provided a range of superfoods from her own pantry and the next day a new menu to reflect these offerings. Both kind and impressive customer service. The onsite spa offers great value services, each of them a touch of Balinese luxury and a pleasure to indulge in.

The pan flute music playing Most of the day! I had a room quite near the dinning and reception area where the speakers are and it drove me abit nutty given I was there for six nights. I asked staff from time to time if they could change it but it was usually just turned down. Perhaps they could take the time to create a ever changing playlist of soporific tunes. ?
