We returned after around 12 years and it was just as good, if not better. Peaceful and relaxing and with the best pool and best beach in Cancun, Palapa bar provided good food and drinks. Room 5117 was the perfect location and view for us. The breakfast omelettes were as good as ever.

There was no kettle in the room for that early morning cup of tea, but manager Oscar soon solved the problem and found one for us.

Last minute them charging me $70 per night for resort fee and breakfast/no food was included. On booking.com it said breakfast included and said nothing about resort fees

La chambre était grande, la piscine et la plage très sympa, le personnel aussi.

Il a plu la nuit où nous avons logé dans cet hotel et une odeur nauséabonde est remontée dans la salle de bain, ce fut très désagréable, d’autant plus que la salle de bain se trouve dans la chambre… le petit-déjeuner n’était pas à notre goût, les produits ne me semblent pas de qualité mais il y a beaucoup de choix.

I would say this hotel is exellent for stay with kids, starting from breakfast with a geat selection and finishing with the beach. We enjoyed our stay and I would recoment the hotel to my friends!

La plage très belle avec beaucoup de transats, le restaurant les pieds dans le sable, la variété du petit déjeuner vraiment bien (fruits frais, spécialités mexicaines, laitages, viennoiseries etc...), l'efficacité du personnel parfaite à l'accueil. Laverie disponible (lave linge et sèche linge). L'appartement est assez grand et fonctionnel, bien qu'en raison de son emplacement (face à la route), le nôtre était un peu sombre et bruyant , donc nous n'avons pas utilisé le balcon (bruit pas gênant néanmoins pour la nuit). La cuisine est fonctionnelle (four, micro-ondes, frigo/congélateur), kit café renouvelé tous les matins. Le canapé lit est confortable, notre grand ado de 15 ans y a bien dormi. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et agréable. On peut aller à pied à l'embarquement du ferry pour Isla Mujeres (20 mn) et dans la zone touristique avec magasins, restaus et discothèques.

Les femmes de ménage changeaient le niveau de la climatisation ou la rallumaient alors qu'on l'avait éteinte à chacun de leur passage, du coup l'appartement était beaucoup trop froid lorsqu'on revenait. Elles interviennent entre 9h00 et 16h00, ce qui est un peu tard si vous avez prévu de vous reposer un peu en début d'après-midi. Pas de quoi étendre le linge sur le balcon. Pas assez de parasols autour de la piscine.

Probably the best beach (along with the hotel on the left when facing the see) in Cancun, at least as far as we reached by foot. Some locals arrive by jetski or yachts to take a drink in a beach bar and they said that the great beach of the hotel is the main reason why they've chosen this location. The night life center of Cancun can be easily reached by foot too (was not relevant for me, but still)

Zuerst bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit Blick resp. Sitzplatz auf den Parkplatz, was nicht unbedingt Ferienatmosphäre aufkommen liess. Am nächsten Tag durften wir in ein ruhigeres Zimmer mit Balkon wechseln. Die Aussicht war zwar immer noch limitiert (gegen den nächsten Appartementkomplex und eine ganz kleine Meersicht), aber trotzdem viel besser. Dem Restaurant, wo es Frühstück gibt, fehlt jeglicher Charme. Drinnen eiskalt, draussen mit Sicht auf den Pool einigermassen ok. Das Buffet war relativ reichhaltig, immer frisches Obst und sonst gab es alles, was man in anderen Hotels auch findet. Dafür hat uns das Restaurant am Strand sehr gut gefallen und die Kellner, die auch an den (genügend vorhandenen) Strandliegen servieren, waren alle sehr aufmerksam.

The bedroom was a bit too basic, not as great as shown on the photo. Restaurant closes too early (10.30) and u are very prompt to go straight away at that time.

A simpatia do staff de outro mundo, o facto de ter os apartamentos reservados uns entre os outros, permitindo privacidade e tranquilidade. As camas são muito confortáveis. O pequeno almoço é muito variado ao longo dos dias e tudo ótimo, com quesadillas e outras comidas mexicanas feitas na hora.

This is a perfect family hotel. We had a nice spacious room with very comfortable beds, kitchen and all necessary in the kitchen to make your own food if you wanted. Breakfast was nice en definitely enough, swimming pool cleaned daily and lkids loved it. Access to the see/ocean perfect for younger kids, we even saw stingray and other fishes while snorkeling directly of the beach. This hotel also has a nice beach in front of it which many hotels don't have. We surely recommend this place.

They gave me a room facing the road, was very noisy. Restaurant food and drinks are overpriced.

We searched for a small beachfront hotel and couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is super clean, very well maintained, and the staff is very kind. The beach area is very good, perfect for kids. Same for the pool area. No loud music, no drunk people, no overcrowded areas. Perfect for us! I think they have live music on the weekends at night, but we stayed during the week. Breakfast is super nice, served from 7-11am, 4-5 options of fruit, bread, cheese, yogurt, granola, pancakes, waffles, french toast, all kinds of Mexican food (so good!!), and very organized! Their restaurant at the beach offers a good variety of food as well. We stayed in a villa, very good size, comfortable, full kitchen.

We missed an indoor kids area which would be nice, but our son loved the outdoor pirate ship! Of course, it's just a point, nothing that bothered us that much, especially because we had the pool and the beach all day long! :D

We loved the beach, the swimming pool and great service on the beach for iced coffees and cocktails. There were plenty of sun loungers by both the beach and pool. It is a really beautiful beach, with just the right gradient in to the sea. We visited the famous North Beach on Isla Mujeres and thought that Beachscape's is more picturesque, and many times quieter! The shop was very handy for buying water or other odds and ends. The size of the apartment was very good and we appreciated that everything worked well, including very affective air conditioning and never-ending hot water. It was very nice to be able to make our own breakfast and saved quite a bit of money too. The balconies with each room were great too. The daily maid service was very good and considerate. I have never been too a tropical location before and loved the climate. We loved the local buses, they were very handy and sometimes felt like a party! There is a very good, big supermarket one or two bus stops away

The decor in some of the rooms was a little tired. I was surprised that we were in a block, as the accommodation was described as 'a villa', which implies a house to me. Also, on arrival we were asked for additional payment for a beach-view apartment, which we were not expecting. The beach-side location was fantastic, but the road at the front of the hotel felt a bit without character. It is also hard to cross the road as a pedestrian.
