Het ontbijt is heel divers met een persoonlijke touch, bediening koffie aan tafel en er wordt een heerlijk eitje gemaakt naar keuze. De gastvrouw was erg gezellig en zeer deskundig. Het personeel is echt super. Diner is echt een aanrader.

Am meisten hat uns die Gastfreundlichkeit und die diskrete Aufmerksamkeit gefallen. Viele Kleinigkeiten haben das perfekte Erlebnis geschaffen. Zum Beispiel die persönliche Begrüßung bei Ankunft und das Winken von der Veranda als wir wieder gefahren sind. Ein ganz toller Ort mit ganz tollen Menschen die dieser Unterkunft ein Herz und eine Seele verleihen. Nur zu empfehlen 😍

Der Abschied hat uns nicht gefallen 😊🙋‍♂️ Es war so traurig weiterfahren zu müssen.

Sehr ruhige Lage mit vollem Blick auf die Stadt / Knysna Heads. Sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer sowie schöner Pool mit Liegen. Frühstück und Nachtessen sehr gut und schön präsentiert. Gute Tipps für Essen im Dorf und Sightseeing erhalten. Die Leitung und das ganze Team waren sehr zuvorkommend. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Es war perfekt! Sehr schöne Aussicht auf Knysna, sehr gutes Frühstück mit Lachs und frischem Obst, ausgezeichneter Service, wunderschön eingerichtete Zimmer im gesamten Haus, tolles Team, sehr gute Küche: ich hatte das beste Steak meines Lebens :) Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Lagoon view, Breakfast, very friendly staff, room was very neat and clean. Swimming pool were very clean, Kagel fire there were board games as well. Books to read.

The only thing we didn't like was the TV that wasn't playing clear, maybe because it was too windy I don't know, but the TV didn't give a clear view.

We absolutely loved our stay here. All the staff are friendly, helpful and kind. There were lots of little extra touches that made it special. The manor is beautiful with lovely gardens and our room was spacious and immaculate. Breakfasts and dinner were fantastic.

Exceptional hospitality, great location, spacious room, fantastic view. Sue and Danelle were wonderful hosts, very helpful and going the extra mile to sort out our airport transfer and early breakfast.

The staff were organised and friendly. Welcome drinks were served to us on the porch. The view is beautiful. The place was clean, tidy and cosy. I sat in one of the lounges in the evening with my coffee and just chilled in front of the fireplace. It was lovely. Although surrounded by two tables of books, it was so relaxing to just sit and enjoy the fire. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. They also provided pre-race snacks and fruit which the runners could take with for the Knysna marathon race. A detail i really appreciated. I would definitely go back.

There was one night where the shower water was cold but that was after load shedding so there was nothing they could actually do about that but every other night there were no problems. They probably would have tried to assist in some way if i had brought it to their attention because they were very accommodating.

Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Service exceptional.

Thank you to the Falcons View Manor staff for an exceptional spoil this weekend. We appreciated the wood fires, during a particularly cold snap. Your breakfasts were perfect, and we were so thankful to be able to order dinners in your restaurant during our stay, instead of going to find a restaurant in the busy town. A special thanks to your talented chef for catering to one of our fussy guests ;) Plus, the fillet steak was the best my husband has ever had!

Fabulous in every single aspect. Historic house perfectly maintained. Hostess was so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. Attention to detail flawless, right down to a roaring fire in the dining room the morning we left and the weather was cold and wet. Food excellent, room luxurious, views from terrace outstanding. This place goes beyond 5 star, there is nowhere else I would stay in Knysna.

It was faultless.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at in South Africa, everything was excellent and all the staff very helpful and friendly. We are definitely planning to go again in the summer when we will be able to enjoy the gardens and swimming pool. The view over the Knysna lagoon is exceptional.

Beautiful building and unique history, with wonderful views. Staff were lovely and super accommodating, helping us with lots of tips on what to do in the surrounding areas. Breakfast was fantastic, and little touches like chocolates in the room and welcome drink really made it.

Only very minor thing was we did feel some pressure to dine in the evenings as we were asked numerous times daily. Have no doubt the food would have been excellent, but probably best to leave to the guests to approach staff if they want to dine in.

Clean and comfortable room - spacious, with a comfortable bed. Nice breakfast and setting in the rear courtyard/garden.

Aircon affected by load shedding during the night. Slightly more formal/traditional feel to the guest house than I would normally choose.

A really lovely house , with outstanding views . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff .

This hotel is a hidden gem! absolutely amazing, I don’t have enough words to describe it. Rooms are modern and nice, the whole house is breathtaking full of nice details. the staff is friendly, professional and polite. I recommend it 100% to everyone

The room, the view, the service and the food were all outstanding.

The food was amongst the best we experienced in 2 weeks - but they were pushy … only partly because they had to plan orders but tourists like to explore and don’t always like to plan.
