Immaculate property in the perfect location for Footbridge Beach and dining. Bedrooms imp stairs and room with twin beds has a door to keep quarters separate. Great communication with host.

My family and I stayed over our Fall Break. It was perfect walking distance to Foot Bridge Beach and a great location to travel around to neighboring towns. The cottage was as described. We traveled during the cooler months and our arrival was 8:00pm. As the heat was not on prior to our arrival, we found the heater inadequate to heat all the sleeping areas upstairs. We planned ahead the following evenings and weren’t as cold as the first night.

Property was a great place for two or maybe a young family with 2 small children who are looking for a beach vacation. the proximity to the beach can not be beat. It's a stones throw away and it is the most beautiful beach in Maine! You can walk home for lunch and go back, get up early to see beautiful surise and walk the beach. cottage has all you need and it was very clean. Restaurants and shopping very close. Loved it!

It was a great place four our family with two toddlers. It was extremely clean when we got there. The outdoor shower is great and the backyard is perfect for kiddos to play. It is a very short and easy walk to the beach. FYI, the house has very steep stairs so it is not suitable for families with mobile infants. The ACs are quite loud but they are only necessary in very hot days since the house has a lot of windows for air flow.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was exactly as described and immaculate. We had everything we needed and, as a result, had limited need to contact the owners. They were extremely attentive when we did reach out. There were lots of nice touches throughout that delighted us and made our stay that much more comfortable. The beach is steps away and there is a lovely cliff walk in town that we walked to from the beach. Great restaurants everywhere. We would love to do this again.

Wonderful location

The property is very well maintained. Very tidy, clean and there are plenty of dishes and a dish drainer to clean up after yourself as you go. It really was a treat to have an outdoor space with a picnic table with umbrella and a grill. It was nice to not have to eat out every night if you don’t want to. The proximity to Footbridge Beach can’t be beat, and you can easily walk to at least a handful of restaurants if you don’t feel like driving. You just need to bring your own towels and sheets, and everything else is provided. The only recommendation I can think of is to potentially increase the power/efficiency of the upstairs AC just on those really muggy nights. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice location. It was too hot to enjoy sitting on beach . We enjoyed ourselves. Nice back yard. The double bed is not in its own room. Very comfortable.

We stayed in the back cottage for a weekend with our two toddlers. The cute, clean cottage was small but perfect for our family of four as we spent most of our time outside--in the backyard, at their picnic table/Adirondack chairs, and at the beach. Location is so close to beach and you avoid the parking fees by walking. Recommend bringing a beach wagon for this purpose. Note, beach is also windy--great for kite flying and on hot days. LOVED the warm outdoor shower, which was key for rinsing off sandy children. Also within walking distance to some restaurants, but further away from the center of town--which can be a plus if you want to avoid the traffic in the middle of summer and just have a beach vacation. Owners were communicative and flexible, which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, recently renovated yet still maintains a classic Maine cottage vibe. All the appliances and dishes were clean and in working order. The yard is great for shared meals at the picnic table or for kids to play. It’sa short walk to beach in one direction and to route 1 restaurants in the other. The property owners were polite, responsive, and personable and prompt in responding to emails. I can’t praise the place enough. Another perk is that the other cottage in the property is close but separate enough for privacy. We rented both for extended family. It’sa great opportunity for two families to vacation together while having separate space.

This two level bungalow was immaculate and super organized. The owner’s instructions were precise and clear making for an enjoyable and carefree stay. The location could not be beat, a quiet neighborhood two minutes walk to the footbridge, salt water marsh and ocean and easy drives to lovely nature reserves. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Ogunquit. It was very cute, clean and very well furnished. The location was perfect with the beach just down one block at the end of the beach. I plan on coming back again.

Great cottage! It was perfect for my husband and I. It is small but haseverything you need. We have rented the house in the front a couple times, and that too is nice. I found them both to be very clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be better. We will certainly be back!

This was the perfect cottage to meet our needs. First and foremost the proximity to the beach is great! Short walk around the corner and over the bridge, the road has sidewalks on one side for safety. The kids never complained about walking to the beach. Its close enough that older children could even walk back on their own if needed or they’re just done for the day. We were able to enjoy runs on the beach, walk a trail over to Wells, and the scenery at Footbridge is wonderful for photography. We did ride the trolley, there is a stop at Footbridge Beach. On a cloudy day we walked downtown towards the Main Beach for some ice cream. It was a longer walk but not too far, only one child complained, age 7 - lol. So we took the trolley back. There are a lot of restaurants close by. We recommend the Omelette Factory for breakfast and the Steakhouse in Wells for dinner (particularly the cheese fries). I never felt like the cottage is small, there is enough space that we never felt crowded. Appliances and bathroom were updated and comfortable. There are plenty of window fans which helped create a cooler environment for sleeping at night. We were outside during the days enjoying all that Ogunquit has to offer. We grilled on the nights we ate at the cottage and enjoyed eating at the picnic table. Plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils, we really didn’t need to bring anything. There are even wine glasses – thank you! There is a small yard in the back which the kids enjoyed playing in. My husband was impressed with the care of the lawn and its great condition – he hated to park on it – lol! Neighbors were nice and friendly. Ken was a pleasure to rent from. He was always courteous and prompt. The check in/out procedures were seamless. If Ogunquit is on our vacation map next summer, we’d definitely return to the Back Cottage at 87 Ocean Street. My husband and I had a perfect last minute getaway at this quaint cottage. Everything was as advertised and Ken was helpful in getting us in a little early. Its proximity to Footbridge Beach encouraged early morning walks on one of the best beaches anywhere. Followed by relaxation and reading then more walking. Repeat. We are the rare vacationers who like to be able to cook many of our meals and the cottage had everything we needed to whip up a dinner. We recommend this cottage to couples or young families. Because the stairs to the bedrooms and bath are steep I would caution any one with disabilities.

Our family of four loved our stay at the "back cottage," a short walk to Footbridge Beach. It is also an easily walkable mile to the shops of Ogunquit, but far enough away to miss the worst of the traffic in that area. This was our first trip to Maine, and the cottage was the perfect home base. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The back cottage was very clean and perfect for 4 people...with all you will need for a great vacation...the location could not be better ...most of all Footbridge Beach is a 2 min walk away and it is a beautiful beach...we had a great stay...hope to return...the owner was very efficient and most helpful.

We stayed in the rear cottage for the 4th of July week. The cottage was great and contained all the amenities listed on the website. The cottage was extremely clean and so convenient to the wonderful Footbridge Beach (a two-minute walk). The cottage has two upstairs bedrooms and even on the warmest nights was cool enough to sleep comfortably (multiple fans were available). Ken Labadini and his family were very friendly hosts and the cottage is located in a nice, quiet area. We have visited Ogunquit many times, staying at Bed & Breakfas locations. This is the first time we have rented a cottage for a week and we were extremely pleased with our choice. I have recommended this cottage to my family members. I don't know what next year will bring, but we would love to return to this cottage.

We were very pleased spending a week at this cottage. All of the amenities to make it an enjoyable vacation were there.It was both a comfortable and cozy experience It was all it was said to be.The cottage was exceptionally clean upon arrival.The proximity to the beach made it especially convenient. The area has things and restaurants for all to enjoy.We would recommend the cottage to anyone and look forward to doing it again next year.

This is a great little find! Cottage was immaculate! Great proximity to the beach. Everything we needed was there, coffee maker, pots and pans, silverware, etc... Owners were very clear and easy to deal with. Deposit returned promptly. We will stay here again and definitely recommend this rental.
