Loved the location.loved being able to have a bonfire on the beach. It was well equipped and the swimming beach was stunning.The ability to kayak from the beach and snorkels provided was a bonus.

It probably lacks some shade or cover when it’s either sunny or raining .It did rain and we ended up being a bit couped up inside.unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather .

The views are amazing, albeit a bit windy at times. The gardens are immaculate. We swapped units from the beach house to a bigger unit (at a cost) and it suited us (2 adults) perfectly. Spacious, clean unit. We also had a hire car which we would recommend as it is about 50 mins to Port Villa. There is a small shop walking distance from the villas. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had booked the Beach House for 2 of us, arrived and did not realise that we had to clamber up ladder stairs to the bedroom. Not ideal if you need to get up in the night. There was a very small beer fridge for all our food that we had bought, thankfully we had family staying in the other unit and we used space in theirs. There are 3 villas and we occupied 2 of them and no one was in the other one. Very nice and quiet, but could have been a different story if there were others staying. There is no privacy between the units. It didnt bother us at the time but could if it was fully occupied.

Location and the views were amazing. So very relaxing. Just what I needed. The whispering palms is a real slice of heaven.

Location right on beach, nice mix of sun and shade. Snorkeling EASY kayaking EASY. Supplies for cooking there. Washing machine use appreciated🙂 WIFI worked great once we found password. Hotel Havannah had great dinner (adults only)

Surprised by attic ladder to loft. This might not work for everyone. This in 2 person boathouse only. Please fix outside light. Would not stay on when dining outside. Better identify which unit is which. Maybe post name on door. We settled in wrong unit. And, yes WIFI password in email but email so long we didn't see and spent way too much time searching unit for a letter with this.

Great villa right on a beach which is excellent for snorkeling. Fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable king size bed and lounge area. Felt like a very private location, with a "private" 1km reef.

It is very secluded and peaceful. Just what we were after to finish our trip

I initially booked to stay in the boathouse, but it was too small for my husband, daughter and myself. Marcello and Cindy were very accommodating and upgraded us to the deluxe villa which was a lot more spacious and comfortable. The boathouse is lovely but great for singles and couples only. We absolutely loved our stay. The caretakers especially Peter, Sylvie, Dorothy and John were just so beautiful and welcoming. They made us feel like home sharing their stories and traditional foods. The snorkelling was amazing and accessible to other close by islands for day trips. The views were spectacular and the easterly wind was a pleasant relief from the humidity. Our host was very responsive and helpful with plenty of local recommendations for restaurans and day trips. We really enjoyed interacting with the locals especially the kids playing with our daughter was very special. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend the deluxe villa for a family friendly holiday in paradise.

The local taxi service contact was very unreliable and I would suggest getting a hire car as public transport and local transport is a bit hit and miss which I guess is the norm in small islands. We were lucky that Morisson who owned the local grocery store was kind enough to transport us in his Ute.

Everything about this booking has been above and beyond our expectations, from the excellent communications with the owner to the friendly welcome of the manager/caretakers and our chats together.The accomodation and location are dreamy and idyllic and as gorgeous as the photos, but the true gem of this stay for us was our experiences with the most friendliest of people we experienced during our whole trip.In the interest of leaving reviews that offer insight and to give travellers clarity, there was no mains power at the time we stayed thanks to not one but two cyclones, however a generator does the same job. Definately take your groceries as we could not find any restaurants open except the one in the area which is at an adults only resort.You have a fully stocked(pots pans utensils,etc )and functional kitchen including microwave, gas stove, fridge with small freezer compartment.All the other trappings you could possibly want to as per photos on site.

Maybe an extra mosquito net that could somehow be temporarily put up if using the couch as extra bed by a simple hook system to attach too.

It is hard to explain how nice this location and accommodation is. It is about 35 minutes from Port Vila but well worth the scenic drive up there. Situated on your own private beach with a reef just offshore that we explored on the kayaks provided and saw multiple turtles. The people from the surrounding small village all said hello and were very friendly as we walked around exploring. We will definitely be returning to Whispering Palms as we continue to explore Vanuatu. We also stayed in a resort in Port Vila on this trip and Whispering Palms and the surrounding areas were significantly nicer to stay so definitely recommend getting a car and heading out of town to stay here

The beach was really nice and was right Infront of the house. Kayaks and snorkeling gear for free to use. We saw turtles and amazing views. Lots of fish and beautiful Coral reefs. Peter was really friendly and showed us lots of stuff and we could drink and eat fresh coconuts. Definitely amazing if you're lucky to have the place to yourself!

Defently disappointed as we thought we have the place to our self. As we arrived, we felt the disappointment from the people already stayed in a house, we didn't expected from the pictures, as they also thought they will have the place to themselves. The picture from the the top of the property is definitely old as there is a new house added right in the middle and really close to our house and we constantly felt watched, when both houses sitting outside on the deck. There is a fireplace, but not how on the picture, right at the beach...more up and way more meant to be for the newer house. They also had a way better deck, with lots of lights and a hangingmat. For all the stuff around, we felt awkward to use, because it was right Infront of there house. Kayaks for use, also felt watched all the time from the people staying at the other house. Not really privacy between the houses and place. Definitely Bring your own food, as there is not really something around. A grill and a oven for use,...but when you not come straight from the town to the place, unusefull, as we could not buy fresh products. To much stuff and people around, walking pass the beach at any time. You could not really have a quit, private time.

This was such a special and magical experience! I cannot recommend more. Beautiful private beachfront location and you can snorkel right in-front of property. The deluxe Villa looks brand new and is extremely comfortable and quiet. I will definitely be coming back I absolutely loved it. Not to mention the beautiful staff who are so friendly!

The staffs were very kind and so friendly. Vanuatu people are generally very kind and friendly to foreigners, I think. There was only us when we're staying and the beach in front of our Villa was rather secluded which was a huge bonus. Overall, it was a very peaceful, calm and relaxing holiday.

It was about an hour of rather aggressive driving from the airport, then the room I booked looked very different from the photos on the website. Very small, lots of insects . We were very lucky to meet the world's famous "Banded Sea Snake" which was hiding under the kayak. We didn't expect to meet the snake face to face , my 10&5 year old kids were very scared with a fright.

We were really lucky and had the place to ourselves. The boathouse is perfect for a couple and just charming. We wanted to just live there. The staff are amazing and made us feel so welcome. Peter the gardener is so talented and the garden is beautiful! We’re all now best friends 😁We were treated to local fruits and taken for a walk to the kava bar down the road. Snorkelling and kayaking was amazing. Correspondence with Marcello before the trip was exceptional. He made sure we knew what we needed for the stay. We will definitely be back! We did not want to come home! Highly recommend!

Whispering Palms is the true definition of paradise! My partner and I spent 3 nights there and it is just what we needed. Located in a more remote area on Efate, you get to enjoy a lot of privacy and access to your own beach. From falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing and waking up to birds chirping, having access to a bbq, snorkel gear, paddle boards and kayaks, it is safe the say this was the highlight of our holiday and we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff working there and the driver were also so lovely and made us feel so welcome, so a big thank you to them! We will definitely be back!

Spent a week there and it was a beautiful peaceful atmosphere, exactly like the photos advertised online. The hosts are friendly and helpful, highly recommended. Would come back here for sure.

If you stay here, be prepared to get food and supplies before arriving as it is quite far from Port Vila. There is a store a very short walk up the road where you can find bread, milk and basic supplies but you are far from any supermarkets. This isn't anything bad about the accommodation, just a warning that is more remote than others.

Our flight was canceled when the period in which we could cancel had already ended and we had to cancel one night. They refunded us the amount we had paid. Very good detail.

we loved our stay at the Beach house : everything was perfect and staff was friendly and helpful. we saw turtles and mantas every morning at sunrise .. we could not ask for more. thanks Peter and silvie for the good time spent together.

We arrived to Whispering Palms around 2am, we didn't see anything but darkness. It was about a 45minute drive from town. The local cab driver - Arthur (who lives next door) was waiting for us as we exited the airport. Upon awaking the next day, we were met with the most amazing view! The beach was at our front door. Silvi and Peter (caretakers) came over to meet us. I would suggest organizing a grocery shop prior to arrival or stay in Vila for one night so you can get your essentials before heading out. Hire a car, it is pretty far and having a car would be handy. Morrisons shop is literally 200mtrs down the road, he has very basic goods at his store and a few liquor options. Siviri has a great fried chicken shop, highly recommend when you want some hot chips. 10minutes towards town also has little stalls that sell fresh fruit, veges, bread and on Sundays the most amazing donuts. We had a great time at Whispering. Highly recommend to all who are contemplating staying in the small village. The people are who made our holiday. Everyone was so happy, welcoming and helpful. We left feeling like we were leaving family.

A beautiful location far from the business of Port Vila. Coral beach with good snorkelling on the doorstep. Friendly caretaker staff and groundsmen. Nice village vibe. Owner quick to reply to any queries via email or booking.com.

Not so much "didn't like", but good to know. Location is far from town and transfer from airport is expensive if you don't have your own transport. No restaurants open nearby so will need to self-cater.

Beautiful location, lovely house and garden, gorgeous neighbours. We all had an amazing 3 days, I wish we could have stayed longer. So many beautiful fish and coral just a few steps from the house and there were even some turtles spotted.
