We stayed for the Memorial Day weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. There were 8 Adults and 8 Children ages 1-12. There was more than enough room for us all and the property was extremely well kept and equipped. The yard was expansive - AND FLAT. Amazing for a property in the mountains - lots of room to run, play and burn off steam.
This place is so very close to nearby attractions (Seven Springs, Ohiopyle, etc). This made quick trips to these attractions very possible. However, we spent nearly all of our time at the property.
I cannot speak highly enough about the property manager - Mary. She greeted us on arrival and made the check in process very easy. She even presented us with a birthday gift as well as a thoughtful welcome basket. She was always available for any questions. She followed up quickly to any question prior to arrival and made our stay very easy.
If I could give this property a rating higher than 5 I would. You cannot go wrong with this property.

Mary greeted us with a lovely welcome basket and showed us around. She had arrived early to turn on the heat which was very welcome for this Hawaii crew! This is a terrific house with plenty of room for everyone in your party. Four LOVELY and comfortable bedrooms and two baths upstairs, a big living/TV area and VERY well equipped kitchen on the main level with a huge kitchen table and two islands to sit at as well as a laundry room, full bath, (with an ironing board which we really needed for our formal event!) as well as a pantry with a Keurig and to go cups! Seriously Mary has thought of everything you could possibly need. For cooking, they have generously provided the basics, spices cooking oil, everything! Then there are the lovely porches on all sides of the house and then a basement full of FUN and another full bath. We had a really nice time and everyone was very comfortable. Thank you so much!

The house was very clean and very well equipped. Mary is a wonderful host and was always available for any questions.
We had an issue with water pressure during our stay as it was not consistence. Mary was aware of it and the people were to attend it the following week, we were there only a couple of days. But it was not the fault of the house, the water pressure was not consistence from the city or the pumping station.

Nice family vacation
Renting this property was a very smooth process. We felt at home and very much enjoyed our stay. Wished there was more than 1 casserole/baking dish. Lots of pots and pans and everything else though!!

This property is truly amazing. Spacious and easy access to Seven Springs. Mary, the owner was amazing and has added beautiful touches to the house. The house is equipped with all that you need for a perfect weekend. My son and friends enjoyed the game room and had the best time.

We enjoyed the natural wood interior, large decks, spacious gathering areas, games, and large dining table! The bedding was cozy and storage cabinets in the kitchen and pantry were generously apportioned. Host was so gracious to provide a couple items we forgot to bring. Everything was as noted on the site!

Awesome Weekend
There was 16 of us all together. Plenty of room for everybody. Beautiful house. Kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom were well stocked. Enjoyed the fire pit and the game room. Will definitely stay here again. Mary is a wonderful host!

Wedding
We were able to have our children and spouses together for our youngest son’s wedding as well as a couple of his friends. Plenty of room and a beautiful home. Mary greeted us when we arrived. She is so sweet. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay!
We had such an amazing time staying at Mary’s house! The house was spotless and so roomy with a huge backyard, full kitchen, grill, fire pit and a wonderful game room. We had a family reunion of 9 people and it was so comfortable and spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms we well stocked and so clean. We even had a gift basket on arrival! Mary met us when we came and everything was so convenient with clear prompt communication. We highly recommend this house!

This was a pleasant property with interiors lighter than the photos. It is ideal for large family gatherings - with room for many cooks in the kitchen & a large pantry. The large yard is perfect for touch football, lawn games, kickball. The entire site is enhanced with large, well-placed rocks on retaining wall as well as steps on both sides of the house.

Worked out great for family get-together
Surprised with the complete kitchen-- pots, pans, spices, cooking oil etc since we made all our meals really helped. 11 of us- grandparents, children and grandchildren. Large grass yard to play ball, stream nearby to walk along gravel/dirt road and see rushing along. Front and back porches the length of the home with comfortable chairs where we read and talked. Large dining table where we played games in the evening. Close to lovely areas to hike. Highly recommend

A Weekend in the Mountains
We are frequent VRBO renters, and we can say that Mary was one of the most gracious hosts we’ve ever had. We appreciated the special extra touches, like the basket of treats. And so nice that paper and cleaning supplies were provided. House is in a great location to visit some of the sites in the Laurel Highlands.

Great family vacation home!
We're in NY and hadn't seen our grandkids and family from Illinois and DC during COVID, so this was a great "middle" place to meet, away from crowds and plenty of room for everyone! The house is as in the photos but even nicer, and the host is very friendly, and nearby if any emergency. Rooms are spacious, linens and towels, everything is supplied, so it's all comfy and very accommodating. Property is perfect for kids to run around and play games outside; lower level game room is great for activities if it rains. Rate a 10/10!!

Great family getaway
We stayed here with 7 adults and two children (6&4). House had plenty of space for the group, awesome basement and game room, lovely family-friendly walks nearby and great space for hanging around the house and surrounds when we wanted to laze about. Would certainly recommend.

Gnarshred 2021
This is the 4th year we rented this property for our annual Gnarshred weekend. The house is so clean and well equipped with towels, pillows and blankets, kitchen items, etc.
We built a fire at the fire pit all weekend and had a disco party on Saturday night since we couldn’t go to the goggle due to Covid. Yes, we all dressed in disco attire and even had a disco ball. It was a blast.
Mary is a wonderful property owner. She’s so kind and always available. We make such wonderful memories at her place and look forward to booking again next year. Thanks Mary for sharing your beautiful home!!!💕

Family Getaway (2020)
The stay at this property was wonderful! The overall space ( indoor/outdoor) was fabulous... During the evening hours, the indoor space was enjoyed by playing board games, shuffle board games, air hockey, chess, and foose ball...We had a great time playing kickball , disc golf, and enjoyed a fire in the beautiful large yard. We enjoyed walking around the property and the gravel road near the house. Our family had a very fun and relaxing time.

Fun & Relaxing Property
This place is fantastic! The property is huge! Plenty of space for our kids & our dog to run around. The pictures don’t do it justice. The lawn is massive & the house looks more dated in the photos than it actually is. The only let down for me was that one of the photos claim that there are 2 streams that join on the property, and that is not correct. There are 2 creeks that join together very close by, but it’s across the street. An important distinction because I was hoping to be able to have the kids & dog play in the creek while we watched from the lawn but adult supervision & participation is required to lead them across the road and to the creek. (Which was still a good time! Just not what I had expected based on the advertisement.)
The campfire was a hit & firewood is stocked for use on the property with the option of leaving a tip.
Kitchen was fully stocked & spacious enough to have multiple cooks in the kitchen with ease. The butler area in a separate room was helpful to keep the kitchen uncluttered and functioning. The whole house was clean & the beds were comfortable. There are plenty of bathrooms & a shower and/or bath in each. So spacious. Fantastic stay!
