Outside noise was a noisy location. Blinds broken and didn't work well Shower was very dark Loud noise like stones falling from inside walls, think it was coming from water pipes.

Pros: -great location next to the beach and backing into the old town -quiet (we had an apartment facing the back) -spacious -well-equipped kitchen (including electric kettle and orange juicer) -big bed (though it could use an extra set of pillows)

Cons: -poor signage: there is a doorway labelled "La Portuguesa Apartments", but ours was through the OTHER doorway, so we couldn't find it at first and nobody called us back until 12 hours later (what if we didn't find it?) -the window shades do not block the street light beaming into your eyes when you're trying to sleep, we had to hang a blanket to block it out. -we needed somewhere to store our luggage after checkout til 6 pm, but they would only store it til 2 pm on a Saturday, so we had to pay extra to store it somewhere else in order to be able to enjoy our last day in Alicante. This is the type of inconvenience that makes you wish you were staying at a hotel.

It was spacious, well appointed, clean, safe, quiet, and was in easy walking distance of beach, shops and restaurants.

It is very spacious and comfortable. Big bathroom with huge shower. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine and big comfortable bed but the best thing is definitely the location! You only need to cross the street to get to the beach. There are also many shops in close proximity so you can easily go and get fresh bakery items in the morning. Just a few steps and you are on the esplanada to enjoy the nightlife

Lovely open plan space, perfect for whats needed. Has little body wash and soaps, towels and also washing machine which was ace. Located in a busy town with a couple of great shopping centres, all the restaurants and shops you would need. The community are welcoming and polite. The owners communication was fantastic from start to finish, will be rebooking.

Great place: huge studio apartment with amazing bed, good quality bedsheets, towels and bathroom. Two steps from the beach, in walking distance to all main restaurants, attractions, beside walking path to a castle etc. Spot on!! Ps.Host very attentive and super fast and nice in communication and accommodating, which was a huge super bonus to overall very nice stay.

Motorbikes & constant street noise you just cannot get rid off in the city centre -defo out of control, so ensure to bring your earplugs and just enjoy the place!

The apartment was great. It was large and well equipped and very clean. We were only there for an overnight stay before flying from Alicante airport, but would have been very happy to have stayed longer. It was in a very good location and had a lovely sea view. Els was very helpful and friendly.

Being so close to the main road, it was a bit noisy at night. Otherwise it was faultless.

Good sized, bright apartment. Fabulous location across from the beach and very close to all the main sights of Alicante.

The apartment was very clean for the most part however there were empty shower gel bottles left in the shower so it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned.
