The location was great, the facilities were well appointed. Ease of access to the parade and beach facilities were great for the family. The outdoor area was well thought out with blinds for year round usability.

The facility change of management left us in limbo. the wifi is spotty and inconsistent which fed into technology proving difficult to use. Lack of disabled access proved challenging.

Bedroom TVs never work

Position, good kitchen, comfortable

Wifi rarely worked, tv didn’t work, had to get it fixed the second day, mobile service almost non existent.

The staff were so lovely and really helpful where I checked in obtained keys and even more helpful when I advised I was not able to stay in the apartment for the duration. The location and view was so good. The apartment was spacious and really nice - great layout. Despite my experience, I would look to stay again but I know to ask about the deficiencies I experienced this time, for next time.

A microwave - after travelling, I had some handy little pre-packed dinners but microwave only and there wasn't' one. No mobile reception with Optus - not sure about Telstra but this would have been helpful to know as the wifi did not work and I could not hotspot to my phone - wifi was important as I was travelling for work. The biggest issue was No effective heating. I didn't realise until the evening when it began to cool and I went looking for the aircon. A very small oil heater that wasn't enough to take the chill out of the air in the bedroom and the other little fan heater had corroded plugs and hadn't been tested and tagged since 2021. The rest of the apartment was too cold - being asthmatic this was problematic and was the reason I decided to vacate at around 7:15pm that evening and drive an Hour and 40min back home and get up at 4am and return to the area for work. Installation of reverse cycle air conditioners throughout or ducted aircon would be a huge improvement.

The view

Cockroaches walking on benchtops. In kettle base. In draws. Toasted not working. No aircon or heater The Tv didn't work and had no remote. Dining chair legs are all loose very wobbly. No screens on doors, hazard spot we're left leaning on glass frame. Some lights never came on in the main entryway. Oven never got cleaned, so when we used it, there was a bad burning smell. Fridge shelving was broken, so I couldn't put anything heavy on it. Gum holding up wooden slates in bedroom. Holes in walls. The place looked like it had no maintainence done in months.

This is our second time in this resort and the location is fantastic, peaceful with a wonderful view of the creek and just a short walk into Kingscliff to the beach, playground, cafes etc. Really appreciated staff of Kingscliff Accommodation (Cleaning and Office), who located and returned to us my child's bunny teddy, which he left behind in the sheets, when we packed up and went home. You made a little boy so happy, thank you!

The pool is a bit cold, but didn't bother us too much with the creek to swim in.
