Jan and Marie always replied promptly and helped out when we had a minor incident. The apartment had great facilities and it was spacious and clean.

The location was great, a quick walk to central Queenstown. It was well equipped with a washing machine & basic kitchen accessories. The owner communicated well leading up to the stay with instructions etc.

we spent a great stay at Wakatipu View Apartments! there’s everything you need in terms of equipment, you even have a washing machine for clothes! it’s also well situated, only a few minutes by food form the center. we had to work so a good wifi connection was very important for us. Fortunately the wifi connection was great! and thank you to the hosts who were so nice and welcoming! i contacted them through booking app and they answered pretty fast!

The water pressure was really not ideal. It’s complicated to wash the hair when it’s long and thick. And there is only one plate to cook, it is feasible but a little limiting.

Great location near the town centre, the room was exceptionally cosy and clean with all the facilities you would need. The bed was very comfortable and was lovely sitting out on the balcony with a wine watching the world go by.

Descriptions of the rooms are important. The room was described on booking.com as having a single bed and a "large double bed". Double beds only come in two configurations queen, which is 5 feet, and king which is 6 feet. When a double bed is described as a "large double bed" the expectation is that it is a king size. Unfortunately, this was not the case and this turned out to be a disappointment. Secondly, when a facility is not manned and guests have to check in by themselves, there must be a response call facility if the guest needs something. In our case the towels were insufficient and we had no recourse as the number given had no response when called. Towels were only provided the next day.

Great location easy walk to town and very comfortable. Didn't realize it was unserviced just means you have to have your own supplies for tea and coffee etc as we did it didn't affect us and the toiletries were enough for our 4 days. Would assume if you stayed longer they may top all that up along with fresh towels. Just a note our bottom for apartment had a washing machine but no dryer, we did use air rack to dry and it was sufficient in summer.

It can't be helped, the apartment above we could hear walking around but it didn't disturb us terribly we were tired though .

The apartment was at the start of Queenstown CBD area, walking distance to the lake, Queenstown gardens, eating options, The apartment is a single room studio and fit for purpose and comfortable for a family of 3. We were most of the time exploring Queenstown and in the room only in the late evening. The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi was great and the TV had lots of channels and Netflix as well. We stayed for 3 days and our apartment was in the 1st floor. The place has free onsite car parking but the parking space is a bit narrow. There was also a washing machine. Nice view of the mountains from the room.

Awesome host! They let us check in early as it was Christmas Day plus the location is the best! QT center is just few steps away, we didn’t even have to drive our car for the rest of the trip!
