We had a few housekeeping concerns- several towels smelled like cigarette smoke, the potty seat was loose in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, it was very clean! Wished we'd known about the steep steps to the upstairs and to the water! We're all 4 in our 60's. We realized we're all in really good shape! Also, not sure how 8 could sleep comfortably. It was perfect for the 4 of us (women- our husbands didn't join us this time) with one sleeping on the couch and with only 2 bathrooms. Also, the mattresses sure could use some updating! Spending money like that, we'd expect to have more comfortable beds. Tonia, however, was an excellent contact!! She answered all our questions promptly and was very helpful! The kitchen was perfectly stocked for all our needs.

A very relaxing place to stay with friends for a weekend birthday celebration. The house was very comfortable and the perfect size and accommodations for everyone. Tonia was a wonderful communicator for all of our needs.

We had a great time! The house had everything we needed! The stairs to get down to the lake may be hard for older people as they are very steep. However, the beautiful dock and seating area is worth it all. We enjoyed the area around the lake house and visited Granbury Beach, Big Rock park, and Dinosaur World with our son and his friend. We would for sure stay here again.

Our family loved this place.The outdoor space was wonderful and the children spent hours on the rope swing. We wish there were more large beds, but the mattresses were comfortable. Overall, we loved the place. We were impressed with the cleanliness. The property manager was awesome.

Our family stayed for holiday and could not Have been happier! We had a fabulous time playing games and just enjoying one another!! Host is amazing!!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving Holiday to be close to family. The house was cozy, well equipped and very clean. The views from the house are spectacular. We will definitely come back again in warmer weather to take advantage of the Kayak and slide!

We had a great fall weekend with our family. Close distance to the annual Spartan in Glen Rose and very affordable! We definitely plan to return next year!

Our kids are 5 and 7 and our family had a blast. Kids swam for hours and loved the slide and swing. There were floats and a kayak for the adults to lounge on the water. We didn’t have a boat but the dock would have been great for one. House was very comfortable and included small toiletries, basic kitchen needs, towels, sheets, etc., more than I expected. The neighbor (property manager) was very kind and welcoming. We’d love to come back.

Everything about this place was outstanding. Usually I can come up with one or two suggestions for the owner but not here. It was hard to leave that view of the lake. We'll be back.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The house is nice, but the dock is what makes this place amazing! Plenty of space, shade, and seating to enjoy the lake all day long. My boys (11 and 16), as well as my 33 year old brother, spent hours swinging off the rope swing, and I had some fun with it myself! The slide is also fun, as well as the kayak, which we all took turns paddling around in. (Just FYI, the kayak only fits one person!) You can also enjoy the view of the lake from the living room and master bedroom, but you don't have dock visibility and it's a walk down a few flights of stairs to the water, so you can't supervise your kids from a distance...not really a problem since the dock is such a lovely space! There were a couple of very minor issues...the listing says there's a futon, so we spent time trying to figure out how the loveseat (which is not a futon) could possibly open up! Once we realized there wasn't a futon, we had to rework our sleeping plans. Around 9:30 at night, we finally got settled and realized there were plenty of pillows, but only 6 pillow cases in the house. I reached out to the property manager to let him know we needed pillow cases, couldn't find any for the extra pillows, and got accused of having too many people in the house when he finally responded the next morning. I think it was just a mistake of the cleaning crew, but I didn't appreciate the accusation, or the delayed response. So just be sure you check to make sure you have the bedding items you need when you arrive. Besides that, we had positive interactions with the property manager. He did come by and get us the pillow cases the next day, and he checked on us after a crazy storm that came through. The kitchen is great and has most of anything you might need, but no pancake griddle. The dining table really only comfortably seats 5. It's an island bar that seats 2 with a table for three that pops out of the side. There are bar stools on the other side of the bar, but no counter/leg room. If you're planning to have a large group sit down to dinner at one table, this is not the ideal space. But it totally works for casual meals, and no one seemed to mind having to eat from the couch facing the beautiful lake! You're also 10 minutes from a fun little lakeside restaurant, and 15 minutes from downtown Granbury. If you're looking for a relaxing space to enjoy the lake, take in some sunrises and sunsets, and spend time with family or friends, this is a great choice!

Lovely comfortable home.

This was a nice unit, we did see a roach upstairs.. might need to spray.. there were no washcloths.. need to repair the first board on the gazebo, it is loose and easy to fall on.. need to get some large spoons. But this was a well stocked unit and we enjoyed it very much.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was great, the waterfront was AMAZING and Dean was so attentive to anything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

Only negative is that there was no garbage disposal and we are a cooking family. we loved the rooms the side yard was really nice for the children to play :) We look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the water some more!

Two baths was a little inconvenient and all the stairs were hard for the little one and old people, but we had a great time. Great location and have been more fun in the warmer months.

Dean lives next door to the property and really goes out of his way to take care of guests and address any needs. This meant a lot to my group who were in the lake house for a quick, two-day work retreat. The home itself is beautiful, clean, and comes with a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time there! This Granbury home is something special for work or family retreats.

We had an amazing stay. Correspondence with the owner was great. We had to change names of people staying so that they could be admitted at the gated entrance. He was right on it. The house was beautiful and just as described.

Our family's recent weekend at this lake house was everything we were hoping for! First, the house came well-stocked with everything we might need: fishing poles, towels for house & lake, inflatables for the water, kitchen utensils and lovely dining wear, comfy roll-away sleeping cots for the kids, life vests, etc. (We brought way more creature-comfort items than we needed to.) The yard and lake dock were beautiful and safe. The upper deck of the dock is the BEST for a morning cup of coffee and a book. My husband did his morning yoga out there, too! The house itself was very comfortable with nice furniture, plenty of seating, cable tv and internet access. I appreciated our host's quick communication with us throughout the weekend and he was so very accommodating. We cant wait to re-book and go back! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!!
