very old uncomfortable mattress. they need to update beds, bedding, etc. the girl at the reception was not helpful when we ask for more pillows, said to wait until 11pm when the new shift comes. pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. there was a party on the outside of the hotel and music was loud until late. my parents room had no window, pretty dark and hot.

It was at the edge of town. It was close to countryside which was ideal for dog walking. The room was comfortable & had a balcony. We were able to order room service for our dinner which was a reasonable cost. Parking was plentiful and free.

We were unable to use the bar as the area had been reserved by childrens party which didn’t end on time so we weren’t able to eat our evening meal. Fortunately, the bar staff were exceptionally helpful and offered to deliver our meal to our room.

Uncomfortable beds. super hard like sleeping on a piece of wood instead of a mattress. air conditioning not working. sweating in spring. TV way too small. no way to sleep with that huge skylight. Breakfast too late, 8am. Has no air conditioning.

Lovely spacious room - also a spacious bathroom. Lovely shower. Reception and bar staff very jolly, polite and helpful. Excellent value in the bar for snacks and drinks. Really nice breakfast.

Food was fabulous and value for money. Will be returning with pleasure !

Noisy children in the bar which filtered in the adjoining restaurant making the romantic dining experience impossible. They were part of a wedding group and they ran amok screaming all around the bar area. Parents didn’t care and the two staff on duty had so much to do that they were powerless to intervene. Once the restaurant doors were finally closed, the noise was reduced but ever present.

Breakfast is too late from 7.30 in the morning. Nice to be earlier like 6.30 or 6.00h better.

Very good access from the highway. The rooms are classic but large, clean and well maintained. Dinner at the restaurant is good value for money.

Breakfast is below average. TV is smaller than your laptop screen.

the restaurant food was lovely as was the lady who served us.

in booking.com the price was £130 bit hoy charged £190 when we were leaving!

The first room smelt of cigarette smoke toilet seat was damaged bedside light kept flickering. Evening meal was disappointing if you stay here eat in the bar not the restaurant
