Room was beautiful! Front desk so responsive and accommodating. Concierge Zoe was extremely helpful. This is the kind of hotel that you walk by and resolve “the next time I come I will stay there.”

we came in a specific weekend where for two days the island accommodates a triathlon event . A race that starts around 10:00 and lasts for 3-4 hours and they hotel demanded to leave 11:00 or pay them 115euro more. this is totally not an event friendly hotel and unfortunately it’s at the heart of the race.

Everything, genuinely. I have often read reviews with people claiming ‘home away from home’. This is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at where I’ve actually felt that. It is wonderfully relaxing, very classy and the staff are very attentive and kind. The gym was very good by hotel standards. Very good food throughout and it was nice to meet the chef and indeed the owner. My wife also had two fantastic experiences at the spa. We really appreciated the art on display, as well. It had been on our ‘wish list’ for a while and it exceeded my expectations. We are already planning to come back. It is just a thoroughly classy hotel.

As I said, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If I am hyper-critical I would say some of the breakfast and evening staff occasionally forgot to bring small items we had requested, such as water or orange juice.

The location is fantastic. We were given a room in the 'new' part of the hotel with a partial sea view, it was a tree that made it partial so still lovely. The room was a great size, amazing bath, loved the Jo Malone complimentary toiletries and towels were fluffy. It was nice of the hotel to pre warn us that there was an event going on outside. The breakfast was OK but the orange juice was delicious.

The design of the shower means you flood the toilet...very odd.

Perfect location and very nice building

Unfortunately there was a terrible smell in the room as well as outside in the pool area and the main building. We have been looking forward many months to stay in this particular hotel but the smell was unbearable. We complained at the reception and they said they are looking for the problem, but no compensation or any apologies were offered.

A very stylish, well managed and beautiful hotel. Attentive staff, perfect location and with incredible views. It is THE place to stay on Stepses. I'd recommend to anyone. The owners have done a great job.
