Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Lorron for two nights, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the key has a door fob to get in an out of the bnb which was good. We were impressed with the service at breakfast. The games room provided some entertainment for me and my boyfriend in the evening. The rooms had nice tea and coffee facilities and a tv and wardrobe and the dining room is lovely. The room was clean with fresh towels and nice sheets and the location is just a short hilly walk to sandown pier.

The first issue we found and probably the biggest issue for us was the extremely loud bed frame. Every time we moved it would creak and rattle this was the same for other bedrooms as we could hear the bed above us. So the walls were quite thin too. And made it uncomfortable and sometimes difficult to sleep. We would have preferred bigger pillows for a bit more support. Secondly the shower head was small like a caravan shower and really needs an upgrade. My boyfriend felt the toilet was quite small too sit on for a large man and he felt uncomfortable when sitting on the loo. Lastly the food needs spicing up a little bit we still enjoyed it and it was pretty okay and we couldn’t fault the actual service at breakfast lastly shower gel wasn’t provided until the second day but I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up on Saturday. These issues are not major but would have made our stay more comfortable :) the games room could probably use more of an atmosphere or some music to make it more approachable but it’s a good place to play a game of pool in the evening :)

Location was perfect. We walked to the beach via the steps in the cliff close by. Plenty of places to eat out. Breakfast served at the B&B was excellent! A very good variety of cereals and breakfast food, fresh juice also available. Lorraine and her staff were very friendly. The B&B would suit a family as there was a games room with table tennis and a pool table available to use.

The hotel was spotless, central to our needs and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking access. Good breakfast choice and staff very attentive and amenable.

Not the proprietor’s fault but the exceptional heatwave meant a little uncomfortable for sleeping at night. Could have done with an electric fan but otherwise, we will return if able

The owners manager was so sweet, I regret not cuddling her for the magnanimity she extended my wife and myself. She's such a likable person instantaneously setting a strongly positive vibe for the occasion. Thank you.

Not very much. Maybe and very mildly the television and milk satchels in our rooms. Inconsequential.i adored the Lorran Hotel. 😄

Lorraine and her staff were so pleasant and made us feel welcome. Lorraine was so helpful and found time for us everytime we needed to ask or say anything despite the hotel being fully booked that weekend. Very accomodative. The breakfast was very good on both mornings.Loved it will recommend it and will go back there again.
