Staff/owners were lovely. Really welcoming and friendly

Room was clean, and comfy but a little cold. It was exceptional value for money though

My mattress was too soft. I mentioned that to Ann and by the time we returned the mattress had been exchanged for a much firmer version which was quite comfortable. The lounge and TV lounge were spacious, very comfortable and stylish. A beautiful house with very nice gardens and large car park.

I felt a little like I was staying a hostel the room was basic not very bright no little touches of colour I the furnishings ..

The owners were extremely friendly and lovely people. They were helpful and were always there when needed and couldn't have been better. The breakfast was delicious

Having to pay extra for breakfast when the hotel advertised itself as bed and breakfast. Male host not very visible. Could hear guests talking in room next door and bathroom fan noisy. Take some earplugs.

We could not be more satisfied with our experience at Somerton. The hotel décor and front garden are extremely well looked after. The room was really comfortable and quiet, the bed was great. The hosts are amazing, and make sure you have an amazing stay from the moment you arrive. Full English Breakfast was exceptional. Parking at the back of the building for our motorcycles and very close to Shankling town centre. I am looking forward to going back very soon! It is going to be my piece of paradise!

I would include an additional drawer in the room to make sure that all clothes can be taken off the bag.
