The location, wallaby visits, ducks turtles, wines, pool. Pet friendly. A brilliant place for a stay with family and friends, highly recommend.

The locks on doors didnt work properly so security when out was a little concerning, however we always felt safe and secure whilst there. Due to french doors everywhere a few bugs inside at night. It was pet friendly but there was no fenced yard.

Absolutely beautiful, I knew it would be good but it exceeded my expectations and blew my mind how beautiful it actually is!! It’s was more the comfortable for 12 ladies, the kitchen was so well equipped for us to cook up a storm, the beds and pillows were so comfortable in every room, the couches and furnishings were cosy and stunning and the fire place was the cherry on top!! Location is perfect for wine tasting and the hunter valley gardens. I could go on and on!!! If you book this property you want be disappointed 🥰

Loved the ambience and the luxurious feel of the place. Communication with the venue was terrific.

The iron plug was broken off into the outlet, probably from the previous renter. Also there was no dish soap so had to use handsoap a few times.. nothing major.

It’s a magnificent place. Lots of space great location. We had great weather and used the pool.

Sounds silly but had no matches to Light gas stove. Even though they said where they should be. Had to really search around for a lighter. I also think asking guests to track across property to empty bins is a bit much when they get cleaners in straight after you leave.

The proximity to things to do in the area was excellent

No screen doors which meant being vigilant in closing the main doors. Mosquitoes and flys and having to make additional trips into town for such things as fly spray

The property is in great location with view of the vineyard from some of the bedrooms, dining room and lounge room. It’s a beatiful and comfortable country home. The kitchen is superb and fully equipped. Great place to stay with family & friends. Hunter Valley Gardens is only few minutes away from the property. I hope I can stay longer next time.

The house is much bigger than we though and is really is beautiful. The cellar door was amazing too!

There were a few minor bits and bobs that need fixing up around the place and the bath water in the jacuzzi bath was brown but neither of these things bothered us!

An unforgettable trip made possible with this exceptional homestead. My family and I planned a special trip away to the Hunter Valley. The homestead is breathtaking; open and bright, large and luxe rooms and so many break away spaces. The kitchen was fantastic and we enjoyed making meals to share. We travelled with kids and the property was perfect in terms of space, sound and safety. The views from the property were boasting the vivid green vineyards, the mountains, the Australian native floral varieties and of course the pool. I couldn’t fault the hospitality and the property. The cellar door was one of the best experiences I’ve had to date in the Hunter Valley; a professional and well thought out set up and design. We walked away tipsy and hands full of their beautiful wine.

Everything! The home is absolutely gorgeous, the grounds have lots of places to picnic and enjoy a delicious glass of red! Exceptional views. Conveniently located close to everyone you want to do and see in the amazing hunter valley! ☺️

The homestead is excellent for a big gathering. Had 12 adults and 3 young kids. Plenty of space. Enjoyed the pool. Great close in location.

Needs a large covered area between the house and pool. Would be ideal for very warm days and also for rainy days.
