Super nice staff. Good location in laureles. The kitchen is nice and the attached restaurant too. The room was simple but clean and comfy.

Everything was awesome. There are pets and people who make you feel comfortable with the place and city.

Everything particularly the staff. If you don't like walking up & down hills this is the place to for riding metro around & exploring Medellin. Cafes & supermarkets in local area.

Great advance instructions on getting from airport. Location was great.Easy flat walk to Metro,cafes etc. Neighbourhood felt safe.Archimedes is a very welcoming,informative & thorough host.Staff are welcoming & helpful. Rooms,bathrooms &kitchen are clean.Lounge area is comfortable.Price is very reasonable.I'd certainly stay again.

Location is very good, just a few minutes from a metro stop so easy to get around, and close to lots of restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a kitchen, although we didn't use it this time, it looked well equipped, and there's free coffee. The restaurant attached does a nice breakfast in the morning.

As others mentioned, no soap in the bathrooms, feel it would be easy to put some in. And also the shower in the bathroom flooded the floor with water when someone used it, so can be slippery and a bit dangerous

Really nice and spacious hostel. Nice and and smiley staff. They serve delicious breakfast down in the little restaurant. Recomended. 🙂

Soap at bathrooms would be nice. Not a reason to not stay there though 😉

Its very close to a lot of bars and restaurants in the touristy part of laureles. The hammock in the common area was quite nice.

Toilet and shower are not completely separated from bedroom, so you can enjoy a talk while doing your business. All the steam from the shower stays for hours in the room because ventilation (window to inside courtyard) is not working well. No sound or light isolation so you can enjoy listening to other peoples toilet business all day and night long. The one public toilet, you have to go to if you don't want your partner to be live witness to whats going on, doesn't have a seat. The staff is between friendly to openly showing their apparent disgust with tourists. The pictures make it seem more than it is. Wouldnt go back.

Rooms are NOT the same or even similar to ones in photos Was first shown a room just big enough to fit the bed, couldn’t have opened my suitcase and close the door..seriously....a a large window behind the bedhead opening into the hallway Decided a room without windows but space to open suitcase was better...until I was woken both nights at 4.30am by neighbours preparing the leave...walls are made of paper and mine didn’t even reach the roof and the glass above the door was missing THEN woken again at 8am by renovations of the nearby bathroom, chipping tiles off the wall All of this while most of the hostel was empty... I was shown the room by the guy running the cafe, had to ask a woman I saw a lot if she was the owner It’s a strange set up...maybe people long term are in the rooms on the ground floor that are quiet and spacious Lots of smokers also, couldn’t wait to leave

Spacious private room for a reasonable price. Great location close to the metro and a supermarket. Clean facilities. Friendly hostel staff and pets.

Quiet atmosphere.

Mattrass covered in plastic , WHY? There are bed bugs here I killed a live one on my bed, 8 hours after check out I noticed I had 50 large bites, yes 50 probably more, I will have to report this hotel to the the city authorities
