Very clean, cared for facility with a very welcoming host

Bunk bed a bit rattly

The kitchen was pretty cramped with lots of travellers trying to cook at once and there isn't a lot of room, but everyone was courteous and cleaned up after themselves. It was well stocked and the free ground coffee was a great. Also had a wonderful deck but disappointed guests were allowed to smoke out there meaning I had to go inside to avoid their smoke. Only 2 showers and not great pressure. The communal areas were cosy. Its definitely geared towards backpackers. It's nice and close to town and has a lovely garden.

Booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm and was given a 5 bed dorm. The curtains didn't cover the windows, so the light streamed in early in the morning. As we faced the driveway we lacked privacy. The only private place to change is the shower when staying in a mixed dorm. Smokers on the deck. Showers had weak pressure and took ages to heat up

There are no locks or security measures. Anybody could walk into the house and take anything they want!

Nothing social organised but understandable in a small town.

It's a cute small hostel in a good location just try to go there in good weather because there is not a lot to do in door

The kitchen is a bit small and the water pressure in the shower is pretty weak

Had everything we needed in terms of facilities and great location. Lady at the reception was really sweet and helpful.

The room was okay not great, we could hear rodents in the ceilings. The room door couldn’t be closed properly.

Friendly little hostel with great cooking facilities and nice garden. Friendly dog too.
