Le personnel était très sympathique et, pour la plupart, très à l'écoute. De plus, malgré que l'hôtel soit en périphérie de Londres, il est bien déservi en transport en commun.

1. Tout d'abord, les équipements qui étaient mentionnés sur le site n'étaient pas tout à fait fonctionnels. Nous avions réservé l'hôtel notamment en raison de l'accès à une laveuse et à une sécheuse. Malheureusement, la sécheuse n'était pas fonctionnelle et aucun avertissement n'avait été fourni à ce sujet. Lorsque rapporté une première fois au personnel, aucune solution ne nous a été offerte autre que d'étendre les vêtement dans la chambre. Il aura fallu se plaindre une deuxième fois pour se voir offrir une solution arrivant trop tard. 2. Ensuite, la disponibilité de la connexion internet (wifi) s'est avérée extrêmement instable tout au long des 9 jours passés à l'hôtel. Nous forçant souvent à trouver un autre endroit hors de l'hôtel pour travailler ou faire notre itinéraire. 3. Puis, l'état de notre salle de bain privé était assez déplorable, présentant un quantité assez anormal de moisissure sur les murs et le plafond. Ultimement, nous sommes plutôt déçus. Malgré que l'hôtel ne se présente pas avec de grandes prétentions, il n'a pas su répondre à nos attentes minimales.

I was travelling on business and had a long trip before I arrived. Everyone was so kind when I got there and it was very easy to check in, which was a relief. The fellow who showed me to my room was friendly and gave me tips on where to go for different kinds of food. I left my hearing aid in the room when I checked out, messaged the hotel when I realised, and got a message back right away saying they would check for it. They found it, held it for my son, and when he picked it up they were super nice to him, which is much appreciated. I have to give my thanks to all the great people at the Hour Glass.

The staff are friendly

The place is situated right inside a pub and is loud until the pub closes. The property faces a housing estate and there is no parking facilities. It felt very unsafe. If you dont like stairs don't book this place because all the properties seem like their in the ceiling. Garden View does not exist. Only boom this place if you like hostel like properties. Definitely would go for a premiere inn over this place any day.

Booked this as rather emergency accommodation when I was stuck in the area but it was absolutely great. Lovely little room with a bathroom. Nicely decorated, all the usual facilities, nice staff. It was just what I needed.

Could have done with some more instructions in the room for checking out, ordering breakfast etc

We had a problem with water, so the last day we stayed without shower and even the bathroom was not working.

Undesirable area

hFair price for so close to central London, warm cosy room, friendly staff. unfortunately shower was broken so very inconvenient for 2 night stay and mouse trap under bed was a bit disconcerting. However lovely kitchen space to cook own meals and dining space. Convenient regular buses into London right outside the hotel
