We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Brauerei Frohsinn. The location is very convenient if one is thinking of cycling along the Bodensee. It suited us well, the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very nice, with a handy walk-in shower. We ate in the hotel restaurant on both evenings and enjoyed our meals very much. The food was really excellent! Shame we didn't have an opportunity to try the beer. Next time! Breakfast was also very good; lots of fruit, yoghurt, choices of cheeses, meats, various different kinds of bread, etc. Friendly staff. The hotel has its own parking lot.

We didn't realise that breakfast was served later on a Sunday! We went downstairs at 7.30 and there was no-one around, and all the doors were still locked. Never mind. We'll know next time! No lifts, so carrying a heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs is not so nice!

Prices in restaurant are high, (male) staff in restaurant grumpy and unwelcoming

nice and quiet as it was out of the centre of Arbon. big comfortable room and they also supplied tea and coffee making facilities outside on the landing. (not many other hotels have done this in Switzerland.) we were able to store our bikes in a secure place. lovely helpful staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast too. just what we needed and wanted after long bike trip.

The restaurant is a very nice location and the beer is great. Food is good also.

The front desk is closed most of the time.

Breakfast spread and quality was amazing. Locations ok but a bit of a walk from the station. The rooms are very basic but very clean and functional. I have stayed here a few times before so I knew exactly what to expect. Hotels are expensive in Switzerland and I find this one always the best option. Beautiful old property and eating outside or on the restaurant downstairs is amazing.

A bit of a walk from the station

Great location with just a short walk to the old town where there were a great choice of restaurants for the evening. Fabulous breakfast out on the terrace in the morning sun.
