First and foremost the reception staff, Bruno and Nikolina I think, were amazing; courteous, friendly, and going above and beyond. I also saw them interacting with other guests and staff and they stayed professional to the end. I found soft beds to be very comfortable, large screen TV, huge walk in shower. The hotel is in the great location in Opatija centre and it was helpful that I was given a parking space under the Millennium hotel. Buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations.

The cleanliness wasn’t up to a standard, more so when you think about being in the five star hotel. There was a lot of dust on the table/nightstand, ash on the balcony table, hair in the bathroom, and toothpaste dried up on the bathroom counter. There was a lot of noise inside the room -stomping from the flat above, and loud talks overheard from the vent system (seemed like people talking inside my room). And the was a great thing to have in the room but I don’t see the benefit on restricting casting capabilities that are already built in -people might use video applications and would appreciate the cast/airplay option on the device.

The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Mr Borna welcomed us very warm and handled all our requests profesionally. The bed was very comfortable, one could sleep easily and fast. The breakfast had everything one could ask for from champaigne to caviar. Hope to visit again.

Hotel je na famtasticnoj lokaciji, u samom centru, ali izolovan u parkicu. Sve je veoma cisto i uredno. Osoblje je takodje profesionalno, i ljubazno.

Very, very attentive and extremely service minded staff. That did their up most to make us enjoy our stay. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful location next to the church and boulevard. Comfortable and spacious rooms.

We actually stayed in Amadria Milenij, next door. We were told we would get a free upgrade?!?, since Sv. Jakov is closed. I specifically booked in Sv. Jakov better big rooms, because the size of the rooms matters to me. The rooms in Milenij were quite small and overlooking busy street and generators. Otherwise the hotel is great, really amazing, it is something special. The breakfast was great and the staff is mostly very nice.

As mentioned above: i was really disappointed and felt played out, since we got two small rooms, although I booked really big rooms at S. Jakov Amadria. Another downturn was the location of the room, right above the noisy machinery (heating, generators, air-con...I dont know about machines) and busy street. Nobody asked us if we were happy with the change or did anything to make us feel, that they are grateful for accepting last-minute change to our plans. So, for a 5 star hotel there are these details that really matter and they should be working on them, since it is a shame, because both hotels are really a treat.

The property is stylish, comfortable, cosy and very well located close to the seafront.

right in the heart of opatja. a stroll along to any other important thing. you could use the jacuzzi and wellness area of partner hotel next door. breakfast as delicious as it can be and very very friendly and helpful staff

The hotel over-exceeded our expectations! It is more a boutique hotel which located inside of the beautiful park at the heart of Opatija and that makes you feel very cosy, more like living on a villa rather than in a hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thank you to the hotel’s manager Nicolina and the cook!

Beautiful old villa located in the very heart of Opatija in a green park and in front of an old church, close to seaside and the famous Lungomare. Very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfasts and good restaurants around.

The hotel staff is ready to fulfill all of the diverse wishes of the guests, 24 hours a day. Very nice entire atmosphere and the right place to recover and refill the batteries. We will come again!
