Great host

Julie is a lovely and incredibly attentive host making our stay seem as though we were visiting family. The room itself was one of our favourites to date, beautifully decorated, spacious and clean with an incredible view which we struggled to leave! The breakfast was a huge plus too, we left feeling very full and with a bag of homemade brownies to enjoy with a coffee down in ironbridge (2 minute walk away) Such a lovely time at her stunning place. We will not hesitate to return.

I cannot fault the place. The only thing we didn’t like was leaving.

Lovely old house with original features made really comfortable and welcoming by the friendly and accommodating host. We had the Captain Webb room which was cosy and well equipped. Able to sit in comfy arm chairs with a great view from the window to the Iron Bridge and surrounding countryside. Really nice decor and period touches throughout the place reflecting the heritage of the location. Very good breakfast (quality and choice) with fab nat. yoghurt and fresh fruit available too. Comfy bed, Netflix etc. and slices of tasty cake were all welcome!!

Hardly anything to not to like, it was a lovely little place to stay. If pressed would say that the only thing might be although the ensuite was nice and was fine for a few days, it could benefit from an upgrade to the shower and WC, which could be more important for a longer stay. But overall fab and would definitely recommend to friends if visiting the area.

Nothing everything was great

Probably one if the best b&b we’ve stayed in. Quality from room to breakfast to location. Julie is a superwoman , pride oozes. Lovely brownies upon Departure. Will be back and highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed the breakfast was superb.

We couldn’t fault anything.

The guest house is in a fantastic location with views over the historic bridge. Julie is a fantastic host who provides a warm welcome and tips on where to visit and dine. Breakfast was delicious and of amazing quality.

Access was up a steep narrow road so was a little tricky. Julie helped to secure a parking spot on the road outside the guest house.
