Well located to the Clutha Gold trail. A rural oasis.

Unfortunately there were significant road works going on in front of the Hotel. Fortunately the work finished for the night around 5pm.

Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely evening meal and breakfast.

A mix up in the booking and they went above and beyond to accommodate us even though it wasn't there doing. Great host.

It was a little noisy when the bar closed. Our room was near the parking lot and several patrons stood outside talking loudly for quite sometime.

Had to sleep, so got in there, closed eyes and departed asap. Could actually be cool if you drank a lot at the bar with your friends and didn't want to go home the same evening. But I was sober when I got into my room, so meh.

Way too pricey for what you get. Had long hairs def. not mine as different colour on the water tap in my room. They had these toilet refresher thingie (wppdsticks in liquid) in my room. Smelt like a fragrance shop. Not cool for sleeping.

Nice room for an old style pub, good pub meals at a reasonable price.

Room was hot in the afternoon sun. A fan was provided to help but the bar was cooler

Nothing at all. I Honestly every single thing about this "hotel" was bad. Staff were disorganised and poorly trained, the bar was a mess and dirty, the rooms were filthy, the bathrooms were awful and no one cared.

Everything the hotel is a chaotic, dirty, hellhole. Honestly, unless it has changed hands and been completely rebuilt just avoid it.

The cabins out the back of the properly we stayed in were very comfortable, the facilities were super clean, the staff were lovely and very hospitable, and we had a great sleep. The pub isn’t close to much, but has everything you need for a good stay. We’ll stay again if we have the chance!

The owner had gone to a lot of effort to make this a great place. Currently road works are making the area a mess and unattractive to explore. Deserves support from bike trail riders.

Fabulous old hotel, very clean. Food was all home cooked and delicious.

character pub. warm and spacious. good meals. clean room. great bed. ideal stopping point. newly updated bathroom right opposite our room. quiet even though there were patrons in the bar and dining room.
