The room specious and clean

The location and view from the property are very good. The breakfasts were also good.
The soft furnishings in the room we stayed in were very tired. The floor rugs were tatty. The white bedding and towels were grey. The shower was mildewed. The general lack of attention to detail was disappointing.

The place is nice , my boys enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast was delicious.
There was no microwave in our room.

I cannot point out one thing that I was not happy with. I have been to harties 3 times and this was the best place, from the facilities, to the friendly staff, the breakfast, EVERYTHING

The staff is so friendly, warm welcome, The beautiful view of the haartebees dam, center to reach all the activities, rooms so clean and smelling good, breakfast on point to start the day

The location
I don't know who gave them 5 stars but I've stayed in better 3 star places. Nothing was ready for us. The fridge was not working. The coffee machine was not working. TV remotes didn't work, the decoder was just hanging, nowhere near beds to charge phones, the shower doesn't drain and the extractor made a huge noise. No soap or bins in bathroom, no bedside lamps, I have complained since returning home and nobody has apologized or got back to me. We spent most of our first 3 hours there with people coming in to fix this or that. Generator only came on after an hour of complete darkness, also no apologies to guests. I would NOT recommend stirling Manor with the new management.

Stirling Manor was under renovation, they then transferred to one of their guest lodges called Indlovukazi guest lodge. Indlovukazi is not clean, had no water for some hours, had no internet. Will never consider them as I was not happy at all.

the staff was lovely, clean pool. well managed and well maintained garden everything was clean.
that we were told that the place was under construction a day before our visit which was a major inconvenience

A bit disappointing. The booking was made for Stirling Manor a month in advance. Upon arrival, we were notified that the building is under renovation, and an alternative building was available. It did not match up with what the initial advertisement indicated.
No aircon in extremely hot weather. Only fans as replacements.

The place has been shut down... they should close it on booking until they are done with their renovation. We want the rooms we booked not being moved around by surprise...
