The need of integrity of the cleaning lady that found my cream in room 2148 on Oct 17 and kept it

I appreciated that the room was close to the beach.

Upon arrival there, the booking.com reservation was changed and the fare for the rooms was not what it was on booking. Not only did they change the reservation number the amount was adding up to double the cost. They charged an extra $159.00 per person after the site said three adults per room and an extra 100$ For my two year old. After paying those fees they only gave us one bed per room. When we had requested two beds. Brought a roll up bed which occupied most of the empty space in the room. The food was horrible only thing edible was the chicken wings and fries offered at the snack station. Also the bartenders and servers only really catered to you if you spoke english and were caucasian. We were extremely unhappy with the whole Booking.com and do not recommend and will not be going back.

The property was small but offered a lot of activities. Great for couples! Very relaxing!

Of the very many beautiful places on the island, puerto plata is low of the list. Go to Las Terrenas or Santo Domingo instead. If looking just for a beach or all-inclusive tourism, go to Punta Cana. Puerto plata is isolates by mountains and has bad infrastructure - our hotel has no Wifi and loses power and water frequently.
