Super friendly service and excellent location. Hotel Moniga made me feel very welcome and comfortable straight away, always ready to help with anything. Rooms were beautifully maintained and nice size.

Room was a little small but I knew it while booking. Considering it is 2 star, it was a bit on expensive side.

The location is amazing and what you’re mainly paying for. Staff was nice even though they didn’t speak much English. Only annoying thing was that the cleaning lady came in twice at 10am when we were still sleeping in and she didn’t understand what we were saying. There were no signs to indicate if one was in their room or not.

Lovely owners that are helping where they can. Rooms were nice and clean, location just in the city center and steps away from the lake. Breakfast was also good, particularly if you appreciate a good cappuccino.

great location right in the center, everything within walking distance; room was really nice and everything was new and clean.

I booked a room with breakfast – and when I checked in I was told there’s no breakfast available. Then you shouldn’t offer the breakfast option. In the end, it wasn’t a big deal, because there are plenty of small cafes within 5 min walk (best and cheapest was “Dolce Caffe”). Reception wasn’t staffed from Sunday to Thursday. Room was cleaned only every other day; which again is not a big deal – but I just expected something else. Cleaning staff put my sleeping shirt inside the wardrobe (instead of just putting in on the bed or so) – which is an absolute no-go in my opinion. Air condition wasn’t working until the last day. Since no one was at reception, I couldn’t tell anybody.

My stay at Hotel Moniga was really pleasant. Nicely decorated room, perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. The owner kindly booked a taxi for me and the espresso was appreciated. Small gestures made the customer service superb.

Hotel ideally located, staff very friendly and caring.

Excellent location close to the lake and also the town. Was easy to walk to from the train station. There is a bar connected to the hotel with tables both inside and outside. As a solo traveller, I felt safe staying here and also walking around at night. I was able to leave my bags on my last day and the lift was a bonus!
