Would be much better if some basics were provided- salt.pepper, oil, tea towels, foil, glad wrap and inner spring mattresses on the bunk beds. Most disappointing thing was that Booking com states there were 2 double beds in the one room and 1 queen and a set of bunks - thus 5 sep beds. Once I worked out that this was Not correct I had to ask for the 2 trundle beds to be made up. This ended up costing me more unexpectedly.

The house was dirty. The heater and hot water are not working. We couldn't reach any staff at night. Guest service office operating hours are not reasonable. So hard to contact the staff. Only reply via email. The bed mattress are also uncomfortable.

The house should have the basic stuff needed for the number of people and the days on the reservation. Cleaning could be improved.

The location was great. Very quiet and peaceful. Accommodation was easy to find and easy to access with a door code. The house was very clean and tidy and had most things we required. It was well located close to the main centre.

It would have been nice to have a compendium about the property and a list of local things to do / places to visit and eat, etc. which is often found in properties. The florescent tube lighting in the bathroom was not working meaning that we had to use the main light (which was connected to an exhaust fan). This was very loud if people used the bathroom at night. We would have also liked to have bedside lights in both bedrooms.

Location was ok

The house ( smoko) was not clean enough for any one to stay. It was dusty, smelly and full of spiders and insects. Even though we booked 2 nights , we came home after first night as we were so unhappy.It was like a haunted place.

Excellent facilities, better than advertised. So close to everything. The only red roof in town!

It snowed before we came but one more snowfall would have been great!

- Listed as dog friendly but not. - Lots of big ants, one guest got bitten a fair bit :( - bedding in upstairs area had no sheets or pillow cases
