Location, large bedroom, lovely bathroom

Not being able to book in till 4pm. But not a major problem

Our family room was large and airy, with a large bay window to watch the world go by. It was in a brilliant location, walking distance to pubs and cafes. Only minutes by car into Chester. The hosts were great to chat to, and it was lovely to have tea & coffee facilities and a continental breakfast plus a little table to sit at. Second room we had was smaller but still lovely, clean and comfortable and also included a sofa.

Location

Having booked a Luxury double room (the largest in the property), I was very disappointed to find we had been allocated their smallest room, with a low sloping ceiling, tiny bathroom, and no windows. Told take it or leave it. The owner blamed the mistake on Booking.com, and said he had no larger rooms available. Appalling. Offered paltry discount. If you book this accommodation, make sure you double check the room allocation.

Room was clean and comfortable. Cleaned each day to a high standard. Room facilities good apart from the TV channels.

For some reason the TV didn't have BBC or ITV, just some Talk TV that went round in circles. I meant to ask the owner but only ever remembered when it would have been inconvenient to ask.

Room was lovely, warm & cosy. Great mattress. Very quiet we had room 3. Toiletries supplied nice towels Parking out front which was free Easy key collection, about a mile walk into town. Gorgeous place to visit. Great hosts , loved the chunky bed scatter cushions.
