I liked the ambiance and quietness of the place. Breakfast was good and I really enjoyed staying there. I definitely planned to return with my wife for a vacation in the not too distant future. Hotel was a bit dated but it was clean. The bar and restaurant was not open at night.

Very nice small hotel sharing the facilities and grounds with the Blue Orchid hotel. Very spacious room and bathroom with useful kitchenette including a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, etc and enough equipment to cook stuff if you wish; we didn't! There is enough storage and a safe, the bed was huge and comfortable. We had a lovely balcony with the most amazing view of the sea and beach, the ground floor rooms have a patio and less privacy. There is a lift. The staff are helpful and happy to book restaurants and taxi's if needed. The position was good, plenty of restaurants nearby and two supermarkets within a few minutes walk, it's also on a bus route. The crowning glory was the fabulous, clean sandy beach with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It was mainly only used by residents so always quiet and not crowded. Be aware groceries are very expensive in Barbados but eating out reasonably priced in most restaurants. The locals use the Worthing Square food court for dining and takeaways, about 7 mins walk away with lots of choice from various van outlets. I'm not sure why Booking.com rated it an 8; I would give it at least a 9.

The hotel was great value for the on beach location and facilities offered. Obviously you can't expect 5 star facilities such as room service etc. The rooms were clean and cheerful but, especially the bathroom, quite dated. However it was spacious, with a good shower. There is a restaurant on site with a fairly limited menu but good for breakfast or lunch. It can be open in the evening but only if booked in advance, we didn't use it.

The beach was wonderful & so close to the hotel. It was so great to hear the surf from our room! The room seemed very clean, but the hotel needed updating. Comfortable bed.

The road on the other side of the room was very noisy, day and night. It was essential to keep the bathroom door shut to try to muffle some of the noise

Oceanfront with nice deck overlooking the beach. Two pool options. Plenty of availability for lounge chairs and umbrellas when we were there for both beach and pools. Many options for food and drinks within easy walking distance.

Some cleanliness concerns with room. Window alcove in kitchen was very dirty. Window coverings in both bathrooms were in poor repair and pull broke as soon as I tried to open them, so could not be opened to let the room air out. Armchair in living area needs replacing. Bottom was falling right out of it.

Great location and right on the beach

No bar and the restaurant was not that good. Fortunately many great bars and restaurants were very close to the hotel.

it was further from the centre of town than we expected and taxis were quite pricey.Could do with decor update as it is very 90’s style.The restaurant /bar menu was very limited and the bar was not well equipped.

We only had the breakfast once and it was good. There is a lot of variety for breakfast.

The restaurant on site really needs to improve. We would have eaten there more often if the had a better selection.

The breakfast was very good. It was served quickly by pleasant waiters. The breakfast area was covered and overlooked the sea which made for a relaxing experience. The menu allowed guests to choose from a simple breakfast to a full English breakfast.
