Lovely host, Solange, who showed us how to light the oven! The pool was an added bonus, and fabulous after a hot day out walking up an active volcano!

They were very friendly

It was quite a long drive that day, coming from Argentina. On arrival we were welcomed by a member of staff who showed us the studio #1, on the side on the reception. But it was small, dark and with no view or outdoor space. She must have noticed our reaction because when the owner came to greet us, we were straightaway offered the cabana #7, on the top of the hill (quite a hike with groceries and luggage’s) but with an amazing view of the lake, a lovely terrace and close to the pool which was a refreshing (literally) plus after our drive on dusty roads... This cabaña was really gorgeous with a sofa curled on the side of big windows, a small wooden stove (probably very useful in the winter), a big double bedroom and a smaller one with bunks, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, a small bathroom. Of course it’s a bit old fashioned but it was very cosy and you could really spend a few days here.

It’s quite far from the town centre. It’s a place to relax and self cater. Not if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of Pucón. It was thus all right for us but we might stay more in town for another stay in the region.

Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful view.
