The apartment is so cute and well located and the host is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The stairs getting in are steep and plentiful but a great way to walk off the pasta limoncellos - as long as you haven’t had to many!

This property is amazing, we stayed here with 4 adults and 2 children, the whole apartment had air-conditioning, very clean, beds were comfortable and the location was spot on. The host is awesome and the instructions were spot on. 👌

Perfectly located near everything. The residence was lovely. Very spacious. There was 6 of us with plenty of room. Easy Check in and out.
Only thing i would address is air conditioning in the loft. It was always very warm but the temperatures outside were brutally hot.
Venice was lovely and so was this host! I would stay again. Thank you!

6 of us (family and friends) spent 2 weeks in Italy which included 2 nights at this lovely place in Venice. It suited our needs well and was close to walk to all the sights. Stefano was excellent at communicating about how to get to the place and things to do..He was very friendly and easy to communicate with The stairs were a little tough for.my 78 yr old mother in law but she.managed..Overall a good experience

This place was absolutely perfect for our family of seven. Very well appointed and the location was amazing. Stefano is an excellent host and made everything super easy to navigate, from arrival from the airport, local tips and recommendations to a smooth checkout. Amazing trip!

Great location and easy to get to. Close to the Rialto bridge and many resturants. The best Gelato in Venice just steps away. I would definitely stay here again. The apartment was a great layout for our 4adults 2kids. Everyone had space and having 3 bathrooms was awesome. The check in could not have been easier with all the helpful videos to help you get familiar with the apartment. If i could give 10 stars I would.

We loved our stay at the Home of the Goose. The location is perfect and close enough to be near shopping and restaurants but also in a quiet alley where you can rest and recouperate after a day of adventures.
Check in was easy and communication with the host smooth. We got there early and were able to leave our luggage in a safe, locked area while we explored the town.
Apartment was very clean and furnished with all that we needed. We loved the sound system.
Beds were comfortable.
The only issue we had was there were no instructions on how to use the washer/dryer. We couldn't figure out the dryer so ended up hanging our clothes out to dry.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in Venice.

Spacious, well equipped apartment, close to a vaparetto stop, stores ,and first class restaurants. Attentive host, very quick to answer any questions.Our family of 7 from 14 -77 years enjoyed the neighborhood!

Location was absolutely perfect. Apartment was large and looked like the pictures. Although we enjoyed our stay, the apartment was not well maintained. Furniture was worn and there was smell of mildew. I am sure it is hard in Venice, but we did not smell it anywhere else in the City.

The goose house was perfect for our family- it was my husband and myself, our two boys (13 and 11), and my sister in law. We all had our own space which was great for just arriving from DC and all getting different amounts of sleep on the plane. The house is well appointed and in a great neighborhood- you are very close to a lot of activity but it does not feel like it because you are off an alley. Several good restaurants are close by and there is also a convenient grocery. We arrived from the airport no problem and left by train and it was all very straightforward thanks to Stefano’s directions. Very lovely space- we will book again if ever in Venice.

The apartment was roomy and spacious - bedrooms good and great to have 3 bathrooms. The living room gave a nice place to gather after day of walking. Would definately stay here again. Located in great spot with easy access to anything in Venice. Thank you for a great stay!

Unique experience enjoyed our 4 day stay. The apartment was perfect for our family of five. Location was great and a relaxing walk to all major sites. Stefano was a wonderful host his communications were the best as well as his instructions. We checked ourselves in and a few minutes later Natalia arrived to assure everything was in order. She was wonderful and very helpful. The apartment was a great base and we felt at home. You can tell Stefano really cares about his guests experience.

Venice, our favorite of the three cities we visited! This apartment was wonderful. It was very cozy, spacious and had a fantastic sound system! Our host left a very helpful booklet containing directions and information on local restaurants and attractions. When we return to Venice, I hope the property is available.🙂

The host was a crook, or scam artist, very rude and insisted we pay extra charges in cash. Vrbo should be notified about this guy, Stefano became verbally abusive because we dared to use a fresh towel every day!!!! He said we had agreement to use just one towel We Never agreed to that. He asked for more money 160.00 euros in cash three of us counted it and all came up with the same count and he said we cheated him 60 euros. We did not! he used a third party to pick up the cash ( his house cleaner) he said because we left so many towels we left A mess . We were very disappointed in his behavior.

The apartment was spacious and lovely. It had plenty of room for five adults. The location was very close to a water taxi spot, which made it convenient to arrive and depart. It is also in a nice neighborhood away from the very busy part of the city.

Very nice location, Stefano met us at the door, gave us a quick tour, and let us drop our luggage off before they finished cleaning. Clean and comfortable, if we come back to Venice, definitely would stay here

It was amazing, Stefano helped us through everything including transportation during the Venice public transportation strike. He was willing and able to accommodate us with everything during our stay. We would definitely stay at his place again and would totally refer and recommend everybody to stay at his place.

This was by far the largest of our accommodations while in Italy. The home was clean and comfortable and perfectly located. As we were two couples staying in the home, it was very appreciated to have a comfortable living room with Netflix to relax in after a long day sightseeking. The home’s music was also relaxing to have throughout the home. We experienced the water going to very cold throughout our shower but completely understand that this is normal for Venice as is the steep stairs when you enter the home. Neither were an inconvenience to us. I recommend this very comfortable home.

My family was very happy and comfortable in the Home of the Goose for our 3 night visit in Venice. Stefano has a beautiful and culturally rich apartment that he spares no detail in making his guests feel like home. We arrived after a long journey to the relaxing sounds of classical music playing on the audio system. His notes and videos about how to work all the appliances are impeccable and there are plenty of included travel guides and tips for making the most of your visit to this magical city. Stefano is very responsive to messages and was thoughtful enough to check that we had arrived and had what we needed. It was perfect that we could store our luggage between checkout time and our departure time from Venice. When in Venice, I will only stay at the Goose Home.

This property is just as advertised. It’s well maintained, within walking distance to all major attractions, has several extras most places don’t offer (from a well stocked kitchen to Bluetooth speakers throughout the residence). Stayed with 6 adults and had plenty of room and comfort. I would highly recommend this property.

This is a lovely property in an excellent location. Plenty of room for our group. Easy to communicate with the owner with detailed information and pictures making airport and train station transfers trouble-free and easy to follow. Just a minor suggestion for better towels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again.

Spacious apartment centrally located in Venice. AC and washer/dryer were added luxuries. Owner provided us with detailed information on how to get to the apartment and was quick about responding to all of our questions. Highly recommend.

Great apt. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The stairway up to the apartment is very steep with low headspace which was fine with us but could be challenging for some. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen are large. Wi-Fi sound system was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the most beautiful and spacious vacation homes I have ever seen. The accomodations are pristine and the location could not have been better. Stefano, the owner of the property, went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Definitely 5 out 5 stars!

The property was as described in listing and was a very comfortable apartment. Location was central and allowed easy access to Venice sites. Property manager was great and was very helpful. Rooms were of good size. The stairs were steep , but knew of this at booking. Our only negative was that during showering the water temperature regularly went from very hot to cold.

Perfect for 3 couples. Every couple had their own full bathroom. The location is central to be able to easily walk to all the sites. We loved our stay!

This property is perfectly located on a quiet street in the Cannaregio neighborhood. but only steps from restaurants and shopping, only 10 minutes to the Murano Ferry, and 14 minutes to St. Marcus. It was very clean, and communication with the owner was great. We had 7 adults, and it was very comfortable. We would definitely hope to stay there again on our next trip to Venice.

My girlfriends’ and I stayed here during Carnevale 2023, and it was so comfortable and roomy. There were 6 of us, and this apartment had so much space, we didn’t feel crowded. Very clean, too. Perfect location with lots of shops and restaurants and walkable to San Marco square. Thanks to host Stefano, who graciously walked us through the entire process of checking in, and provided valuable info on the transportation logistics. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful place for a family. Large living area and comfortable beds! We had a great stay! Close to vaporreto (city water bus) stops. Strada Nova was very vibrant during the holidays! 100% recommended.

Perfect for our family and definitely recommend for all. We are a family of seven with five kids from infant to teen and this was the perfect home away from home during our trip to Venice.
Stefano was the best host, from the beginning to end. If you worry about navigating Venice or checkin, don’t. Stefano provides fool proof directions and instructions to the front door and the apartment has anything you may want. The fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryers were very welcome.
You are literally ten steps from one of the main streets and, for our family of kids, 1 min from a donut shop. Five minutes to a grocery and shops and restaurants galore right outside your door. Thanks for a great stay.
