had a double room in the building opposite of where the reception is. beautiful garden with swimming pool. limited parking ‚inside‘ (behind the gate). spacious room with small terrace. comfy (wide) bed. fridge. safe. air con. coffee machine. TV. pool towels already in the room. optional breakfast.

some minor issues with the toilet flush (could fix it ourselves) and the fridge (quite noisy during the night).

The room was really big and clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were friendly and the location was walking distance to everything in town. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was great! The hot water in our shower wasn't that hot but it was quite hot in Samara anyway so it wasn't a big issue.

The gardens were beautiful! The pool area was lovely and relaxing, other than the road noise behind us, it felt like we were in the jungle. We even saw many species of birds attracted by the beautiful flora and fauna in the gardens

As noted above, the road noise. which, as a reasonable person, I understand is unavoidable and not their fault. It can’t be avoided as the property is located very near the main road access / entrance to Samara. It wasn’t a problem at night b/c we had the patio doors closed with the A/C on. The bed was very comfortable so we slept soundly. Also, it was the only property on our 3 week travels of Costa Rica (8 towns/cities) that did not include breakfast . It was not really a problem as there are plenty of places to eat , including their buffet at 12.00 per person. It was just surprising , is all and 🤷🏼‍♀️ not tipico of CR hospitality.

Exceptional value for your money. Rooms are clean, spacious, and in optimum condition. The hike to the beach is short, (around 5 minutes) and close to restaurants and grocery shops. Our room was steps away from one of the pools (most rooms are) surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. WiFi worked wonderfully. Breakfast is not included but they will be happy to provide it if ordered the previous night. (I did not eat at their restaurant so I cannot provide further details). At night, the hotel was really calm and silent, allowing us to sleep very well. One important detail worth mentioning is that we had to cut our trip short due to a personal situation back home, and the owner made sure our departure was as comfortable as possible. Thank you! We will definitely come back and finish our stay, my 5-year-old demand it :).

Location is very convenient. Grounds are lovely and well kept with a nice pool. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with large beds. They have beach umbrellas and chairs and provide beach towels.

We love this place. This is our 2nd time we stay here. With a big room, really comfortable bed, nice bathroom it is perfect. The pool is lovely surrounded by high trees with howler monkeys. The room has a fridge, so you can keep drinks and rosé cold :) Just to enjoy on the terrace.

The breakfast is a bit expensive- 12 usd pr person, so we just buy in Pali to have our own breakfast.

Very nice room surrounded by lush vegetation. Bed was very comfortable, nice bathroom and shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast at extra cost, or short walk to nearby restaurants. The room was an excellent value.

There was some road noise but not during the night.

This place is so clean, the staff are kind and we extended our stay. The room is cleaned daily and the grounds are perfect. We even saw a family of howler monkeys right from our balcony, overlooking the pool! The walk to town is ok and its nice to be away from the noise. Highly recomend.

Beautiful garden full of plants and I even encountered an iguana. Breakfast was very good and the view from the restaurant is wonderful. The staff is super friendly, very welcoming and helpful. The heart is at the right place. Would definitely stay here again!!
