- Great location for glacier - Absolutely amazing breakfast. Best I’ve had at any hotel ever

this place was just wonderful! Recommended by Ice Troll to stay before our glacier excursions. The host and staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. We felt like we were at our aunts cabin in the mountains! Not only were the staff wonderful, it had a cozy feel to it. Overall great place. Stay here if your going to see the glaciers or hikes for at least a night or two!

our stay was lovely and exactly what we needed while exploring the national park. wish we could have stayed longer actually to do more exploring. the Family apartment was perfect for us and we snagged a warm dinner both nights & were very pleased. friendly staff too! definitely recommend!

The location is excellent for exploring Nigardsbreen and Styggevatn Dam. The family room was comfortable and has a nice balcony where one could sit to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the breakfast has a good variety of food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including coming up with a vegan dinner for my daughter.

The mattress, like in all other hotels and AirBnB we had stayed at in Norway so far, was way too soft for us.

Good breakfast spread included for all guests. Reasonably good lunch and dinner options. Small kiosk where we could buy gloves for Glacier hiking. Awesome view of mountain with strips of water fall from the top a river flowing down and a lush green meadow. The host was super, even making us a dinner beyond dinner time, as we arrived quite late.

I could not complain about anything, ver nice stay.

Excellent location, super friendly staff helping all the time with arrangements and suggestions to explore the surroundings. Family room was big enough, and breakfast was superb.. quite some nice dinner options too!

What a wonderful hotel. A great owner that gives a lot of attention to her guests. The restaurant offers great food with a lot of variety. The rooms are very clean. Perfect spot to explore the glaciers.

Very good location for hike on the Nigardsbre. The appartment was excellent for å family of 4 - 2 bedrooms, Nice and spaceous. Dinner at the restaurant was very good.
