The breakfast is probably one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had while travelling abroad. The fried donuts are amazing and all their products are very local and genuine. The staff is what makes the place very special. Saber and Rida went the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome and they provided us with tips and advices whenever we needed it, they also were happy for some conversations before going to bed. Saber was also very kind to show us the nearby waterfall and we spent a lovely day all together. It felt like visiting friends! Thank you so much guys for your hospitality we really felt home! We recently stayed at Dar Zambra in Chefchouen and had an amazing experience. The terrace with the spectacular view of the blue city was simply breathtaking and made the stay so much more memorable. The room was the nicest of our entire trip. The dinner on the terrace was great and I highly recommend ordering the kefta tajine. The staff were friendly (but never pushy!) and genuinely helped us navigate the city. We asked if we could leave our bags even after checkout and they kept them without charging any fees. The location of the hotel was perfect for admiring the beauty of the city from above as a whole, and the impressive surrounding mountains. As a practical information, if you want to park your car we recommend the car parking located in 5P9M+WWX, Jamaa, Chefchaouen, Marocco - following google maps we point out that the entrance to the car park is not very visible, you have to enter the cemetery and go down the path to the clearing to park, the path is steep and full of holes, therefore it is not suitable if you have a big car. We paid 30 MAD for one night, care are surveilled by the owner of the parking even at night. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and it was a pleasure staying there.

The rooftop and breakfast were fantastic! The rooms were spacious and clean. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating, we enjoyed our stay.

- The location is very difficult to get to at night. You need to drive through dirt roads through a cemetary to get here. We felt like we were driving into a horror movie and were convinced we were in the wrong place, but after asking around found out it was actually the carpark area. - The room we stayed in had some charm but was incredibly small for our needs. If you have luggage it's very difficult to move around.

This small inn is a charming gem. Our room was very comfortable with air conditioning and a nice bathroom. We were in a triple and had plenty of hot water for three people. It was in an excellent location. Our breakfast was delicious and served each morning on the beautiful rooftop deck. The staff was extremely kind, answering our questions and even washing our clothes. We can’t recommend Dar Zambra enough.

Beautiful little place in the heart of Chefchaouen. The room was small but cosy, with a nice view on the city. Delicious breakfast was served on the rooftop. The bed was a bit hard, but that appears to be a common thing in Morocco. Not too far from the car park, but best to travel light, the steps are very steep!

The only thing I can think of, was that we didn't have hot water in the morning. No major issue, we just showered in the evening

Dar Zambra is a wonderfully decorated and spacious hotel located in the city of Chefchaouen. The blue colors of the room matched the theme of the city and provided a refreshing atmosphere. The room was magnificent, and the hotel features a unique layout with a bedroom and a room with two sofas, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ambiance. The breakfast on the terrace was delightful and very traditionally based. The view of Chefchaouen from the terrace was breathtaking, providing a beautiful start to the day. The service was outstanding, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The toilet comes with shampoo and showering gel, meaning you do not need to worry about bringing your wash products. The hotel has excellent hygiene standards, and the room provided was clean and tidy. One exceptional feature of the hotel was its staff's thoughtful nature. They went above and beyond their duties to drive us down to the CTM bus station, ensuring our comfort and convenience. In conclusion, Dar Zambra is a fantastic hotel with excellent amenities and friendly staff. The view of Chefchaouen from the terrace is impressive, and the breakfast provided is traditional and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chefchaouen.

Superb accommodation, ideally situated, with a stunning view from the rooftop terrace. Rooms nicely done and very clean - warm and very friendly staff, willing to help with any suggestions and keen to hear how your day was. Breakfast complete and well taken care of. Recommended!

Certainly NOT value for money. We stayed in a beautiful riad in Fes which was better maintained, had better food, facilities and professional hosts for pretty much the same price. Hot water didn’t work and breakfast (which is partly why we chose this place based on reviews), was very lacklustre. There wasn’t a separate key to enter the property so every time a guest rang the bell it was quite a nuisance. We could also hear people talking and walking up and down the stairs from our room.

The room and hotel were great. There is a rooftop terrace with amazing views over the town and the included breakfast was very yum. The hotel is in a great location and super close to everything. Parking is close by as well which was an added bonus.
