No hot showers, noisy street noise, Poor TVconnection, no wifi in rooms

The staff, the facilities, the emplacement.

Do not have windows in the rooms. No natural light.

The staff were helpful and kind. The included breakfast was a great way to start my day.

Different rooms have different types of fans. It would be nice to know what is the fan setup for each room beforehand.

Hidden gem on the main road.

The room that we had was comfortable for our needs of 3 people, but it was noisy, you could hear and be heard by other visitors.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. No major issues with the hot water supply.

There’s a commuter train that runs behind the hotel early in the morning to later in the evening. The rooms are clean but there’s little natural light and mine smelt a little musty. The breakfast is ok, nothing to write home about. The hotel felt more like a hostel - even though the rooms did have individual bathrooms.

The location was reasonable - near a mall, and not too far a walk to get into the main town / restaurants. For the price (c£50 a night), it seemed ok, but admittedly we were expecting Costa Rica hotels to be better value for money overall

The rooms were all quite different but we got placed in one which was a room inside a room so it was very dark / dreary. The room was noisy with outside traffic. Breakfast was quite limited but perhaps understandable for the price - you had to pick from a few options but couldn't make substitutes for example, if you didn't eat eggs you couldn't ask to swap out with something from another dish
