I have visited the hotel many times and the management staff have always been amazing except for one occasion when one of the workers was non-cooperative. But the issue was resolved immediately by involving the owner.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good housekeeping, too. This was my 1st experience of staying in an independent hotel. I usually stay in the big brands (even if budget), because you can almost tell what to expect with those ones. However, Westlynne pleasantly surprised me. Keep up the good work! 👏

Immaculately clean hotel and rooms with all the extras (tea and coffee-making facilities, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, electric fan) that you would expect, but do not always get with other hotels. The rooms are very well furnished, and the bed was comfortable. The double glazing kept the outside traffic noise to a minimum, allowing for a good night's sleep. There was also plenty of car parking space. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

The frontage was very pleasing and the downstairs reception area, lounge and small bar were lovely. The breakfast room was modern and the breakfast choice was fantastic.

Our bedroom was a decent size, so was the bed and bathroom. Our only criticism would be that the room smelt of someone having smoked in their and the mattress was quite hard. Other than that, a very pleasant stay.

Unfortunately the double glazed window in our room would not shut correctly, making for a some traffic noises from the busy road outside

The property has a boarding house feel to it. The location was okay, 5 minutes walk to tram station. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room (23) was small bit cosy. Bed was comfortable. Shower had hot water.

No fan in bathroom. Toilet very close to the bed. No plug sockets near the bed side.
