Very well maintained property with nice views. Had great time with family and friends.

We enjoyed a lot staying to this house for 2 nights. It has all the facilities for guests to make the holiday comfortable. The beauty surrounding area are second to none. You can enjoy The spectacular beauty from the upstairs docks of the house. I wish to stay this again soon

The property was fine. We had one problem which was disappointing. The hot water service was not working properly. Luke warm only and I did not have a contact number to call. Showers had to be quick as the water was not warm enough

Really loved the layout of this place. Top floor living area and deck with amazing views of Mt Bogong, with well set out bedrooms below. Gerlinde was responsive and helpful when our plans changed slightly, and our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Loved the local gorge walk and swim, and were lucky enough to be there for the Mt Beauty monthly markets which had a good range of dinner choices. Would happily return!

We loved the location with easy access to the cafes and shops in Tawonga South and Mt Beauty. The views from the house and deck are spectacular and the Kiewa Valley is beautiful. The house is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped for all cooking needs. Having the BBQ was great on hot nights as was the fan in the bedroom (there are fans in all the bedrooms). The upstairs living area is spacious and comfortable. It does heat up on hot days, but there is an air conditioner which we used and it worked well to cool the space. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Amaroo! Gerlinde is an excellent host.

The view is spectacular. So peaceful. Ideal for families. Great view of the mountains and cattle. You will see kangaroos in the paddock just across the way. The house is a great size for all family members to stay.

This place was fantastic. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood. The surroundings were picturesque and only a short drive to Mount Beauty. The house was perfect for us. Three bedrooms, large spacious lounge and dining. We enjoyed playing the board and card games provided. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed two nights in August to be able to go to Falls Creek skiing for a day, and this great property was perfectly located. It was well equipped with the double and queen size beds, and the four bunks in the third room. Everything was perfectly clean, and the kitchen equipment fully stocked with all the crockery, cutlery, utensils, glassware, dishcloths and teatowels we could need - I only needed to bring some foil & cling wrap! The location was great - so quiet, and we loved the view over the valley, and I think when the weather was warmer the deck would be an amazing spot to hang out. Being only a couple of minutes away from Mt Beauty and about 45 minutes up to Falls Creek, it is perfectly located to be able to hit the mountain for day trips. The wood heater was fantastic - we couldn't believe how much heat it pumped out - we popped the airing rack with snow gear near it and by morning everything was dry. The large lounge suite and arm chairs meant we had heaps of room to spread out, and I was able to do some work from the 8 seater dining table. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which was perfect for when we were all trying to get ready, and the bathroom has heat lamps in the ceiling so we were not cold. And all the beds had electric blankets and extra doonas if needed. While we didn't use the laundry facilities there was a standard size washing machine and laundry tub for people needing to use those during a longer stay. The checkin process was simple and the accommodation as described. I would be keen to stay here again when we next go to ski at Falls Creek!

We absolutely loved our 10 day stay at this beautiful property. It had everything we needed- beautiful views, comfy beds, lovely warm fire and close enough to Fall Creeks to travel up and back easily for snow sports.

Beautiful and peaceful to sit back and relax on the deck soaking up the gorgeous views of the surrounding valley. Walking distance to shops/local brewery, easy drive to further beyond. We loved our stay at Amaroo. The house is set up for relaxation and has everything we needed. The weather was quite warm and the house does heat up however there is a fabulous large sun umbrella, air conditioning and fans in the bedrooms. We'll hopefully be back again. Great place for a family with amazing views from the living room and deck. We had a lovely Christmas in the cosy house surrounded by lush greens and enjoyed dinner and breakfast on the deck. The house had all we needed and our two kids loved it as well. It’s a perfect base for walks to explore the mountains around and cool off in the rivers for a swim ob a hot day. It’s a pleasant walk to Mount Beauty which I did with the kids one afternoon to go to the Mount Beauty pool. We would definitely stay there again. Owners were very friendly and communication was easy and prompt.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Amaroo. Amaroo was very homely and had a nice comfortable feel about it. It was well-equipped with everything you could need. The coonara was a great feature and the views from the deck of Mt Bogong were amazing. This is a great spot to stay for skiing at Falls Creek!!

We loved our stay at Amaroo. The cottage is warm and welcoming - the most comfortable beds and a lovely heater. My young adult children had a blast on the snowfields - and we were able to take in the local walks and coffee shops (since we don't ski). In the evening we had lovely family meals and played card games. Thank you!
