Pleasant stuff, great location and spacious rooms

Had a bit of a tough time finding the designated parking area. It is inside an arch.

The location is great, right on the main square in Chomutov. The staff at the reception were also very friendly to me. I felt welcome there. The price was also very fair.

Breakfast is not fun. The woman taking care of breakfast seemed determined to make as much noise as possible, slamming plates together and it was same on both mornings I was there. The scrambled eggs have been commented on by enough reviewers already and the coffee is a disaster but the biggest problem I had with the hotel is that I didn't really get to sleep. There was a larger family staying in the hotel and my room was next to one of theirs and there was a lot of door slamming and children playing in the corridor in front of my room until midnight. And at six o'clock in the morning, it started all over again. This is maybe not really the fault of the hotel (they could have put me somewhere else though) but I was exhausted after two days stay.

Nice furnished

Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived earlier and were allowed to leave our bags in the room. Bed is UK double and nice soft bed sheets. Room was smaller but big enough for 2 people. Big bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic. Many choices and fresh vegetable and eggs as per your choice. For coffee break they recommended Bageterie on the main square, 2min walk and for dinner I would highly recommend Mexican Pepe Lopez restaurant, which also serves Asian food and it's 5min walking distance from the hotel.

Perfect location, helpful and nice staff

The breakfast was great (they even had almond milk when I asked for it) and the hotel as well. Location is excellent, in the middle of the old city, close to all. But the best was the staff, very pleasant and always willing to make my stay comfortable.

The location is perfect. The furniture and its style is nice and interesting. The main receptionist during the day was perfect. Breakfast was pretty good.

The evening receptionist was not qualified as well as dressed poorly. The service expected was higher and did not meet the expectations. The bed was "squeaking" a lot. The room cards did not work, so every time we wanted to enter room, we had to bring someone from reception with us.

The hotel is clean and provides the standard features. It is beautifully located, central and quiet. We have met only nice people. Once again here: it is hardly possible to evaluate a hotel at this time.

Basically it makes little sense to ask for reviews in the present. Many of the rather minor flaws are probably due to the fact, that such a hotel wants to survive economically.

The rooms are OK. for approx €50/night you get what you pay for. Slightly old (Czech) style, but spacious and in order.

The breakfast could be slightly better. Perhaps a bit fresher and a bit more choice would never hurt. Although you have a nice view on the main square of Chomutov, I do advice to ask for a room a bit more in the back. It could be quite noisy on the side of the street. Definetely in the weekends.
