Loved everything about the place and the host Nyoman, was very welcoming and friendly. He recommended a few places which was a bonus. The location was perfect, away from the busy tourist spots and by the seaside. The noise of the ocean at night was extra special.

Amazing hide away. If you came to Bali to reset and clear your mind but there are too many tourists are on your way, here is a gem for you. Family owned business gives you both private space, care and tourist attractions, should you need them. Surrounded by ocean and green scenery, there are super clean rooms waiting for you to come and take a rest from life or prepare to see local attractions offered by the host. Really cosy place where you can either unwind watching or hearing the ocean or have a safe and clean base to see what Eastern Bali has to offer.

Google maps can show you very poor quality road to arrive here. We were struggling a lot with our car to realize that there are easy and convenient roads which doesn’t require 4x4 vehicle. As of July 2023 it’s better to have a driver or choose longer routes which google maps marks as “Similar ETA”.

very clean and quiet to relax at the pool or terrace. By watching the ocean you realy calm down. if you always want to eat on site or book tours with the owner you are more than welcome etc., it is your accommodation.

If you want to travel individually - avoid Seraya and Frangipani. On the second evening we didn't want to eat on site, we wanted to get away with the scooter - we were very rudely stopped by an employee, where we wanted to go, dinner will be served at there warung! The owner himself treated us condescendingly, whether it was about scooters - since he has no competition in the wilderness, we had to pay 80k for a scooter that had no working electronics, the first only front wheel brake, the second also had no speedometer /fuel gauge/odometer. When returning, fuel from his own shop will be charged arbitrarily (20k/liter) even tho it is fueld like we got it.

By far the best place I stayed in Bali. off the beaten path, but so worth it. Quiet, nice views, pool, clean and comfortable. Amazing place.

I loved this place immediately.. It had all I needed for a relaxing short break. Kettle, coffee, tea in the room, and drinking water all provided. AC was good. Wifi was good. The team are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful open air bathroom, with fantastic view of the night sky and all the stars.

I read in the reviews that many would have liked to stay longer, so I booked 5 nights instead of 3. I was thrilled. The staff and the owner are very nice. The stay was super relaxing, I could really regenerate. The view is wonderful and also the wifi worked for my business calls. The facility and also my accommodation were always clean. The hospitality is very warm. I extended after 5 nights, because I liked it there very much. You can also rent a scooter without any problems. I heartily recommend this accommodation.

The staff were so kind and accomodating. Room was lovely and clean! Pool is just what you need to cool off. Highly recommend a short term or long term stay at this inn.

Nyoman and his family were awesome. Kind, helpful, hospitable. The room was really cozy with a huge window and beautiful view on the sea. Outside bahroom is a kind of adventure, you feel more exotic and it's amazing. It's located in a tiny village by the beach, you can really see how do people live here and feel theur kindness. Swimming pool is not huge but to cool down it's perfect and very clean and with a beautiful view. They offer renting a scooter and transport wherever you need. There's a restaurant where they prepare delicious local food. We absolutely loved everything and we will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!!

Nyoman and his family will make you stay like been at home. If you want to know the real bali, culture and village it is your best option.

Very remote little gem close to Almapura. Nyoman helps you with everything you need and gives you recommendations where possible. You can also book a relaxing massage. You can have food there, which is amazing, breakfast is also very good. There's also free tea and coffee in your room. Thank you very much!

Staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful, especially Nyoman the owner! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Accommodation was very nice and clean. Location was nice and quiet, far away from the action of Bali but if you're looking for a peaceful break, this is ideal. They offer many experiences and tours around the local area and overall, our experience was amazing!

The only thing we felt hard done by was when it came to pay the bill at the end.. On Booking.com we clearly booked a bungalow with 2 double beds. When we arrived, we were shown a room with just one bed.. Nyoman explained that the room we had booked was being occupied by a couple so was not available. He was quick to solve the problem by offering us 2 seperate bungalows for only a small extra fee (so we thought). There must have been some miscommunication because we ended up paying for the equivalent of another bungalow even after deducting some of the cost. When we tried to talk about this misunderstanding, the message wasn't really heard and so didnt get properly resolved. This didn't effect our experience as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, however it did result in us going way over our budget for a mistake which was out of our control. Other than that, our time at Frangipani Inn was faultless.

Really quiet country area. Owner is really helpfull, he has small shop and restaurant, sometimes drive the car with us, because of the Bali-traffic. The pool with sea wiev,... There is no turists and you can relax and join the community.

Very calm and relaxing homestay off the beaten track in a very rural area. Nyoman and his family are very kind and helpful hosts. Small but nice pool in a pleasant tropical garden. Tasty food at own restaurant.

Only a small issue, but the bed was creaking although it was very comfortable.

Perfect place when you want to relax and enjoy life. The restaurant was amazing. You could here the waves all the time which I loved. There was no loud road so really relaxing. The owner and staff are so polite and friendly and also helpful. The pool is also really great. I just loved everything! You should go there if you want to see different sides of Bali, not only the touristic sides.

it’s in a very small town with nothing much around, but the host Nyoman took us on a daytrip for like 11 hours to see almost everything in the area. Also he took u to a traditional ceremony at his brother in law which was very nice. Had some drinks and fun after. so an amazing time.

This was such a wonderful experience! The bungalow and food were nice but it's the people who made the place so great. From the get-go I was told I'd be treated like family, and i really was. The women immediately involved me in their daily life - I learnt to make offerings, cook balinese meals and taught me some indonesian. Nyoman, the owner, took me on trips all over bali, provided a lot of practical advice and support. We had long fascinating chats about life, and are still in contact today. Also living in an authentic local village away from all the tourist traps and just a few minute walk to the sea was quite and experience! Definitely recommend!

WiFi before it was fixed - but Nyoman took my feedback to heart and had it sorted. Worked as a charm after that.

Nothing at all

Wow what a little gem of a place! I was looking for a place to stay to surf jasri in the morning while finishing up my work as the surf camp on the point was looking a bit dusty for my tastes. I was able to complete my work with a stable connection with the Bali Sea in the background from the porch of the bungalow. The grounds were pleasant with clean rooms, outdoor shower, and a comfy bed. For dinner, Nyoman made a nice curry with vegitables from his chemical free garden! He served beer and we had a nice chat about the world. Overall great stay 🤙

Nothing not to like.

This is awesome place to stay. Nyoman is really welcoming host. He offers us lot of informations about all Bali. They are cooking delicious food from fresh local sources in their warung. Bungalow is far from any source of noice. And there is great bathroom. You can see ocean from the shower and no one can see you! Also it's good place for watching stars. I would like to come back. I can recommend them!

We must leave so soon :-)
